I recently came across this video posted on the evermore unsubstantial and irrelevant pages of Kotaku.

Now it's clearly fake, you can see this pretty obviously if you watch the video, something I think Kotaku might want to do sometime soon.
All of this begs the question; just how far will a fanboy go to sabotage a rival product? That is assuming this video was edited by a fanboy and not those loquacious guys over at Turn 10. For now I'm not going to start a conspiracy and just assume a fanboy did this.
At what point in a fanboys life does a game for a rival console threaten their console (and what would seem themselves personally too) so much that they go out of their way to create a statement of pure malevolence such as this?
It's a whole new level of hate that I'm having genuine trouble to comprehend. I can clearly see the desired effect this particular fanboy anticipated, to create a wave of negativity exacerbated by recent reports of a certain PS3 exclusive racer having (slightly exaggerated) slow load times. The plan is almost genius if it wasn't so malicious; however the execution leaves much to be desired, which brings me to my second question...
...What if this person was a little more masterful at their craft?
Would people genuinely believe the sabotage propaganda and let it negatively impact their experience of the game? With such a massive franchise and gaming pedigree it's doubtful but there are those that want to believe. These comments were taken from the N4G page:

Now while a couple of those were just trying to be funny most of them are perpetuating this nonsense because deep down they feel just as anxious as the person who created the video. Everyone in the gaming community knows that Polyphony Digital and Gran Turismo are synonymous with quality, which brings me to my third and final question...
...Why can't we just enjoy good games and be grateful that a development studio has taken the time and dedication needed to create something truly beautiful for us to enjoy, whatever the platform?

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

They're jealous of the quality in GT5. Their top racer doesn't come near it so they have to make it look bad and do anything they can to create negativity towards the game. Its sad when people have doctor something to create negativity about a game simply because there is nothing negative about the game. Just accept the quality, don't hate.
Also its popular to hate on something that is popular.
