Just one day before the launch of my favorite game. Someone from Gamestop called me and told that they haven´t got enough GTA 4 to give to all pre-orderers. And when i asked how long it would take till´ i´d get my hands on it. He said 10 days!!!
Gave them 2 good ps3 games to get it, and now i´ll just have to wait...

Lets be honest raising prices doesn't do that when no one's buying it. I imagine the profit it greater selling 10 times more at a lower price
The price increases are due to the RAM demand associated with AI and the US-Iran war. You can look to any business news website and local news to see that. Heck, even the 2026 Asus Zenbook Duo I've been eyeing has faced delays and has had a price increase of $400; that laptop has two specs. Asus is doing a staggered release with per-orders for the lower spec now and shipping in May and pre-orders for the higher spec that I'm eyeing starting in June. Basically, all computer manufactures are affected. It'll most likely start affecting smart phones too if it hasn't already. I can't remember the last time any major console maker (Nintendo, Sony, Sega, etc) increased the price of their console mid cycle outside of Microsoft just to make more profit.

wow man, i can't imagine the anger you have right now. This is the hard truth when you deal with gamestop, they are overcharging for used games and undergiving for credit. While i haven't heard of people not getting their preorders in america, it is a common thing to have had some problem with gamestop at one point or another, i recommend you not go through them next time you want a game. if you do you just condone their behavior and they continue to do it.
I'm sorry to hear that. I have had an experience where they changed a preorder of mine to the 360 version when I have never bought anything but PS3. So sorry this happened to you.
