Halo 3 amzing or a waste of time?

Well in case you weren't aware halo 3 came out not to long ago. This might come as a surprise seeing as how quite this has been kept. But the debate is does this game live up to the hype? Bungie's first two attempts at games missed the hype by a long shot and if you didn't like the first two halo games this won't be much different. The first thing most people look at when they buy a game is the campaign. Well if it's halo's campaign you’re looking at don't blink because you just might miss it.  The game's campaign follows the same linear pattern that we've come to know and hate, run forward shoot, run forward, shoot, run forward, shoot. There's a word for that: repetition. Now some of you have either stopped reading or started swearing at your computer, calm down because halo 3 only gets worse from here. So I finish campaign and decide I've had enough of playing out a cheesy sci fi movie plot for one day I'll try multi player were I don't need to see Bungie's pathetic attempt at creating a story. So I get on Xbox live and play all the new features. Oh wait sorry that made it sound like there are multiple new features there is one. ONE. On top of that it sucks you all know what I'm talking about forge. Make your own online maps that idea has so much potential but once you find out your creativity is limited to where you want to place weapons and vehicles you might be pretty pissed off. So I tried it and the only fun part of forge comes in deleting opposing player’s vehicles but when it happens to you it's not so great, but even deleting vehicles loses its fun in about half an hour. Other then that you play pretty much the same multi player that has been used since the first halo. Some people may not have a problem with that but I look at this and am puzzled at how it could possibly pass up for next-gen. Speaking of not next gen what can really make or break a game is visuals. The graphics in this game are passable at best I have scene much better everything is way too bright the character models for the human solders especially are sloppy and not detailed, the environment can look rather impressive in some areas but nothing to jump up and down about. Now I'm going to wrap up a topic I began earlier campaign did you the tag line for halo 4 is finish the fight...again yes you dish out $69.99-129.99 and bungie failed to produce a definite ending.
 So my halo rant is almost over I hear all the 40 year old halo freaks letting out a sigh of relief everywhere. No I know many people are going to look at this and say well Halo got great reviews so how should I know more then the reviewers. Readers let's all put are heads together and think if game spot of ign gave halo 3 a 5/10 what would happen? Do you not think the halo fans will stop going to their website?  Another funny thing I noticed was that on game spot readers could write a halo review before the release and all the halo freaks were giving it a near perfect-perfect score how do they know before playing the game? Does this strike anyone other then me how biased halo fans truly are and no matter what bungie gave them they would love it. Over all I will give halo a 5/10 score. Barely passable as a game and by the way there is nothing innovative about this game that separates it from other first person shooters just allot of hype. Now I will clear the air by saying I AM NOT A PS3 FANBOY I have 360 and like 360 just not halo. Goodbye and halo fans enjoy playing halo wars and try not to suffocate yourselves with your master chief helmets.
