If someone gets into this I'd recommend getting the enemy within version. It's got all the dlc included so it's the better version. Wish the author would've atleast mentioned it. I didn't see it.

Fantastic game though. Xcom 2 is top notch also. I've spent countless hours in these games.

Excellent game.
Played to death on PS3 years ago.

What other games were inspired by this game?

JL2930852d ago

Gears Of War Tactics, Phoenix Point. Many others.

shinoff2183852d ago

Phoenix point if I remember was created by the original xcom developer or something to that affect. I did try gears tactics some months ago and I just couldn't get into it. It's probably just me

It was, but it was really closer to the newer XCOM than the older ones. Gears Tactics was okay but was hard to get into knowing there probably wont be a sequel.

Absolutely incredible sales numbers.

shepherdzeMan1746d ago

deserves every cent! , no one works as hard as them.

GottaBjimmyb1746d ago

It honestly is mystifying to me. I thought GTA V was like ok. Technically impressive in some ways, sure, but kinda quick to become boring for me. Might be series fatigue, because I did probably play more GTA Vice City than any human ever should have.

chiefJohn1171746d ago (Edited 1746d ago )

Gta6 will be in vice city. Can't wait.
I would love for them to remake San Andreas. I played thru it more times than I can count. It capture the 90s Westcoast hood life perfect and had a all star cast. Then the huge map, and cool mini games and feats that changes the character. It's my top 3 favorite game if not #1

Michiel19891746d ago

@gotta i have the same thing, I just cant get into the newer GTA's anymore. I can tell they are still great games, but i personally prefer the older more arcady GTA games. Nothing beats hearing: KILL FRENZY and then u need to go on a rampage in your car ;)

Vice city was also my favorite, partly because of the multiplayer mod which I used to play a lot with my brother.

I wonder why EA never made a GTA clone considering they bought so many game developers and have so many licenses

roadkillers1746d ago

They tried, but when your competition makes a game that lasts two generations, whats the point

Lionsguard1746d ago

Yeah, we're never getting GTA6.

Knightofelemia1746d ago (Edited 1746d ago )

Rather have GTA 6 instead of milking the same game since 2013

Applejack1746d ago

As a gamer I agree but when you look at it in a business perspective, you’d be just fine with what these sales numbers and profits show. Why release the next game when this cash cow is still going 3 generations strong this coming November. Again, this is just a business perspective, not what I personally feel.

SlothLordPootus1746d ago

I know it won't happen, but I'm hoping for a GTA set in London, written by Guy Ritchie.

RedDevils1745d ago

There The Getaway for that.
