I thought the released a patch for this recently?

Edit: @ Nate

Oh, well I hope the devs put out a fix soon.

Nate-Dog5163d ago

Hasn't been any patch out for the game yet, at least not for the X360 version yet. I'm still waiting on a fix for the facial code importer, but reading about this I feel a bit petty for complaining about my issue.

morganfell5163d ago (Edited 5163d ago )

I don't think your concerns are petty. I went through Mass Effect 3 thinking, "Who the hell is this?" My character was close to the original in some ways while still looking like some weird clone experiment gone wrong.

GillHarrison5163d ago

I wouldn't really use "of death" to describe this issue. It's not like the Red Light of Death or the Yellow Light of Death which actually means your fucked and are forced to either fix or buy a new system.

Capn5163d ago

It's more so a reference to the Windows Blue Screen Of Death, also just a name the community gave it; not me =]

MaxXAttaxX5163d ago

BSOD (Window's Blue Screen of Death) is just a crash. Not actual death. Everyone knows that.

spike5163d ago

I traded this game to Game Stop. They gave me 38 dollars for it. They could keep it. Waiting for Max Payne 3.

Nitrox5163d ago

Interesting... First I've heard of this, I played through the entire game and my wife is just about finished with her play through. Neither of us ever have had a single problem, thought it was a pretty solid bug free game.

I hope they fix this soon, I know I'd be pissed if I was one of the people affected by this...

vikingland15163d ago

I had the same experience as Nitrox. I too had a bug free play through 42 hrs worth.

VTKC5162d ago

The people who are unable to play the game are lucky. They dont want to witness what happens in the end.
Oh and that "...we’re all just waiting to save the universe" yeah like I said. They are lucky.

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee82d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

US Lawmakers Urge Review Of EA Sale

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

TheColbertinator116d ago

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
