Get Over It: Mass Effect 3

theBitFix writes: "Videogames have recently entered the era of controversy, and more specifically with Mass Effect 3, gamer entitlement. There have been articles dissecting every aspect of this, so there’s no point in going back over any of that. But someone needs to explain how incredibly disgusting this whole affair has become"

You know I have purposely been avoiding saying critics were bought off by Bioware/EA but "articles" like this make it really hard to think otherwise. Seriously even Fox News doesn't try this hard when a Republican is caught in a scandal. Maybe E.A./Bioware and the critics need to just stop talking about it and hope it goes away. Cause all they are doing is making themselves look bad and only convincing fanboys they are right for supporting the indoctrination theory Bioware has all but said is wrong.

if it sux it sux. welcome to the age of the internet. if you suck, the world is going to hear about it. there are a few unwritten DLC rules and releasing day one is one of them. another is holding back game mechanics which is another EA specialty. if you ending is really bad then the world is also going to hear about that.

how about the author get over it and accept that this can very likely happen in this internet age

after DA2, bioware had a lot of work to do in proving they are not just another one of EA's bitches and guess what? they failed bad, really bad.

And now we see BF3 releasing CoD maps. DICE are another developer who's rep is about to be ruined by EA... all in the name of money

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
