Fable 4. With Kinect controls. I bet "The Journey" has been scraped in favor of this..

IM_KINECTED5120d ago

They aren't going to scrap Fable The Journey, that was already using Unreal 3.

It's probably Fable 4 running on Unreal 4, if it were to have Kinect compatibility it'd be voice controls or minigame controls only.

This could also be the MMORPG that they were supposed to be working on. I'm excited, I honestly love all the Fable games, even though people tend to bust on them for not delivering EVERYTHING, they still are above average and one of my favorite series.

Blacktric5120d ago

Another game with huge promises that fails to deliver... Well... Hopefully not.

DiRtY5120d ago

Fable, Fable II were great games! Fable III was decent.

I like Lionhead and I like Fable, but a new way is always welcome.

Grap5120d ago

yah im with u Fable, Fable II was great but Fable III was literally sh!!t and im not joking

Mystogan5120d ago (Edited 5120d ago )

fable 3 was what fable 2 was supposed to be.

it was shit because its gameplay and its graphics were not up to todays standards.

fable 3 would be better if it had unreal engine 3 and gameplay like kingdoms of amalur.

i hope its a new fable on unreal engine 3 and a teaser of fable 5 on unreal engine 4, and i hope they scrap ''The journey''.

but to be realistic i think its an entirely new IP.

iamgoatman5120d ago

Lets hope so. As much as I liked Fable 1 and 2 (the less said about 3 the better) they need to give the series a rest.

I'm a little bit excited. I love lionhead but Peter can get waaaaay over excited.

mcstorm5120d ago

I agree but he loves games so to me thats a good thing but the past few games he has hyped up a little bit too much which has not helped with peoples views of the last 2 Fable Games.

For me I want to see a Kinect Black and White but I think its wishful thinking.

Jdoki5120d ago

It is a good thing, and I'll always cut Peter a little slack because Populous is still one of my favourite games... But with each game launched I'm cutting less and less slack.

The problem I have with Lionhead / Peter is that even if you strip away the hype the Fable games have been fun but average at best.

I'm going to go for.....Fable: Dance Dance Revolution With the King.

Molyneaux will describe it as something we've never seen the likes of before and it's amazingness is brilliant. Or something like that.

Jdoki5120d ago

Yeah, it uses Kinect and I believe you have to do the actions from the mini games, and stupid gestures to townsfolk...

Can't wait to level up my Wood Chopping and Sword Making skills for a few pointless hours!
