good to know. i've been kind of curious about this series, but because i only had a PS3 at the time, i've been horribly disappointed with bioware's PS3 efforts (they can't seem to code for that system to save their lives for some reason). the demo on the PS3 had a fair share of performance issues that i hope aren't in the final version, but given their history, i expect the worst for those who buy the game for the PS3.

now that i have an X360, i am thinking about playing on a system that i know they can properly code for...

and i think it's going to be pretty hard for them to convey any kind of emotion when the faces of all of the characters are generally blank (meaning they kind of just stare blankly and show very little expression) even when they're delivering some emotional dialogue. :)

I think you'll have fun with Mass Effect

I was very reluctant to start the series in fact, I almost didn't finish one because I didn't like it a whole lot...That changed quickly.

The Mass Effect Universe is one of the most fleshed out and imaginative universes I've seen in any Sci-Fi. Not to mention that Gameplay is just freaking excellent.

Combat in 1 is a little lacking, but don't let that stop you because in 2 and 3 it's as tight as Gears or Uncharted.

I'll stop gushing and just say this is my most looked forward to game of the year.

The whole blank expression thing is unfortunately a side effect of having branching story paths, but you get used to it, and the character's do emote well, especially in 2.
