I was scared a lot during the Suffering but I was only twelve at the time. I never watched anything for Dead Space before I bought it Day 1 and the beginning was the freakiest part of the game imo but it wasn't the scariest thing.

Then I played Amnesia when it was $4 on Steam a couple months ago and I put on ear buds and played it in the dark and that was scarier than anything I have ever played and I loved it...

The lack of Condemned series concerns me.

Wow, there is NO way Dead Space is scarier than Silent Hill. Silent Hill exudes atmosphere and a claustrophobic environment. It's what may not be around the corner that's scary, not kindergarten jump scares. Love Dead Space, but you'd have to be blind and deaf to believe it's scarier than Silent Hill.

And Silent Hill 2 is the scariest game I've ever played.

The first three resident evil scared me but when silent hill for the ps1 came around I learned a new meaning of horror the atmosphere was crazy. That siren would go off and the sky would darken it was a terrifying feeling. Always think of it every time I hear the fire siren in my hometown lol you felt helpless against the creatures you were fighting and the story about the town of silent hill is pinnacle of survival horror in my opinion. I hear people say silent hill 2 is the best in the series but I never got the chance to play it or silent hill 3 patiencetly waiting for the hd collection this coming march.

Original resident evil 2/3 are a nice addition
