Team Fortess 2,it's a really fun team based game made by valve and it's free now so anyone who has a decent pc needs to get TF2! I will link a video so you can see it but a video really dosen't do it any justic you need to play it and it's one of the most played games on steam so there is always like 60 000 people playing lol.getting this game for free is a steal

I've always wondered about team fortress 2 because of good things I've heard about it but I never tried it. After watching that video I'm pretty sure I won't like it. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like just a frenzy-paced chaotic shooter similar to UT3 but with poor graphics and lack of nice guns. Is there any objectives or strategic gameplay or is it really just run around everywhere shooting randomly at whatever moves?

On topic: Textures definitely make a big difference in games.

It's objective based,theres CTF,conqust type mode,playload which is fun..heres a reviww some guy on youtube made lol

TF2 is a game that people play for fun and enjoy. it's a very unique shooter not like any other shooter,and even when you get your @$$ handed to you you had a lot of fun.Not sure I would just lable it as a "frenzy-paced chaotic".every class haves there own role and diffrent ability it's not as "frenzy-paced chaotic" like MW3 or something.It's just a amazing game and for free you can't ask for more.You really got to play it for your self even though it takes a while to download it's so worth it.

1. I don't play online-only games.
2. No story/single-player mode/character development = no hook IMO.
3. It's great that it's free. But then again, I'll refer to points #1 and 2.

The mod looks pretty cool. Although, unlike TF2, it loses too much detail on the faces of character models since they weren't meant to look that way.

2-TF2 was mostly bundled with Half-life 2(the Orange box)but you need to pay for that where as TF2 alone is free
3-you snooze you lose,there are some good online only games out there if your looking for some online fun,TF2 being free and one of the best ones.
4-I can enjoy both RPGs and FPSers online and offline,SP only or MP only.
5-I'm going to play TF2.
