Fu**ing cool

Melee combat is the same the way the guy is playing..,ah well, Shield bash and all that crap will make it different

Drake1175335d ago

This game looks so freaking good lol. For the ppl complaining about the melee, i think its miles better than what oblivion or fallout 3/NV did. And yes this is the first 20 min of the game, i'm sure when we start unlocking cool new abilities like all the dif sword slashes and shield bashes it will just add to it. I do like the executions too lol. Either way I play ES games to explore a huge believable world not to nit pick about dumb little things.

Iroquois_Pliskin5335d ago (Edited 5335d ago )

goddammit Zenimax, why wont you let us watch Skyrim and get more hyped up??!!

Blackdeath_6635334d ago

@iroquois_pliskin
click watch video i think. i downloaded both parts as soon as i had the chance

afterMoth5334d ago

Dang it, the gameplay still look very flat, I was hoping for something really visceral but this looks only a slight nudge better than ES: IV's gameplay, which just doesn't hold up. I don't care how big the world or how many voice actors they have when the core gameplay isn't visceral.

arnyftw5335d ago

lol im not watching this because I want to enjoy the first 20 mins when the game comes out

Abriael5335d ago (Edited 5335d ago )

lol me too. Not spoiling it.

IrishAssa5335d ago

I don't really mind spoiling the first 20 mins of a game like this, tis pretty cool anyway...12 days.

MaxOpower5335d ago

yeah exactly, not since the game has the potential to be hundreds of hours long.

AntBoogy905335d ago

Yeah same. Because of the copyright thing, i ended up downloading both videos..

I don't have a problem watching it because when i play it.. it'll be like 50+ hours of gaming lol.

Blackdeath_6635334d ago

300hrs of gameplay im sure 20 mins wont hurt...

The_Nameless_One5334d ago

Correction. 40 hours of gameplay. 260 hours of walking.

Balcrist5334d ago

@ Nameless
Correction, 30 hours of gameplay + 20 hours for every guild (at least 4= 80 hours)+ 50 hours of random quests + 50 hours of dungeon delving (excuse the WOW term) = 210 hours of gameplay, and 90 hours of travel
Travel = 50 hours of running + 40 hours of walking

Now if we assume that one plays Skyrim for a mere 5 hours a day (every day), it would take them roughly 2 months to complete 300 hours.

Now if we divide those 2 months by the amount of walking time (60/40), we find that of those 5 hours, the player will walk approximately 1.5 of those 5 hours a day.... Not a bad ratio if you ask me... especially when you have Skyrim's awesome scenery to look at....

Krakn3Dfx5334d ago

Same, as tempting as it is, just going to wait til 11/11 to see it myself.

ArabianKnight015334d ago

Ditto! Been avoiding most if not all videos/articles lately cuz I feel they are chalk full of spoilers... 11.11.11 jus really needs to hurry up and get here.

Adexus5335d ago

Would love to know where he got it from! :P

Abriael5335d ago

The game is already in the hands of reviewers

Adexus5335d ago

Pretty sure that guy isn't a reviewer though, especially with the quality of the videos.

Adexus5335d ago

Yeah I know but you would think that if you were paid to be a reviewer you'd have a much better capture card than that.

I don't get paid to upload videos and what not but I've still got a Blackmagic Intensity Pro! :P

arnyftw5335d ago

I dont know why they havent published review yet. They're probably gonna finish the game first or publish the reviews at release.

Abriael5335d ago (Edited 5335d ago )

Reviews are under embargo up to a given date, as usual for games that are delivered to reviewers several days in advance.

they don't publish reviews because if they do, that's the last thing they're gonna receive from Bethesda :D

@Aeon above:I just know that reviewers have it since yesterday. Though I have to tell you, not all media outlets have a HD video capture card to capture footage from the 360 :D

Edit: @Aeon again Not all writers are paid, and many of those that work on a volunteer unpaid basis still get review product from publishers :D

A black magic intensity pro doesn't just require the capture card itself, but also a pretty beefy rig to suppor it (and a BIG hard disk, multiple in RAID actually if you want to capture uncompressed footage). I know quite a few gaming writers that don't even have a decent gaming PC,let alone one that can support a black magic and do some decent capture with it.

Vettur5335d ago

OMG! OMG! OMG! THATS SICK! CANT WAIT FOR 11 MORE DAYS! :P

Kran5335d ago (Edited 5335d ago )

Looks good, but I cant believe the game freezes for a few seconds after every auto save ¬¬ Didn't Fallout 3 do that? I mean it only goes and misleads people that the game is gonna freeze permanently.

they can't get a 14 year old game to run smoothly?

jjb1981178d ago

That's ridiculous, lol. I'm waiting for the guy that says its too cpu-intensive for the Switch 2. This game is old af and has been released like 17 times.
