It seems that if you're playing Battlefield 3 on one of the new-ish 4Gb slim Xbox 360s, unless ours is a freak isolated incident (and a couple of references I've found on forums imply that it certainly is not), you might well be stuck with crappy last-gen (or worse) textures throughout the game.

PS1 graphic is a major exaggeration but it will definitely look much worse.
