For better or worse, EA has been at the forefront of implementing machine learning technology in game development, and its investment in AI isn't about to change as the company soon comes under new ownership. With $20 billion in debt looming as part of that big buyout, EA has now announced a collaboration with Stability AI to implement a range of new AI technologies in its development process.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Just one more reason not to get any of their games if they're dedicated to using AI.
Lol. They really are the Sears of gaming. They don't realize how done they are.
the one thing EA delivers on better than ANYONE else, is giving me more and more reasons to not buy EA games.
So they weren't in debt and only got into debt because of the company that bought them out and part of the deal was they'd be responsible for paying it back. I'm no business man but that ish sounds absolutely effing STUPID. They basically screwed themselves over and by that I mean their employees. The lack of financial security in this country is embarrassing. You're screwed if you don't work but even more so if you do cause the company you work for is doing the screwing.
If you support EA financially, you are part of the problem.
