Today Sega published three new screenshots of the upcoming PSP RPG Shining Blade, scheduled for release next spring.
In addition to those, they also released the key artwork.
Kotobukiya has commenced preorder for the scaled figure of Elmina Roderia from the game Shining Blade.
Sega’s most recent Shining series title, Shining Blade, came out for PSP in March 2012. While Sega hasn’t said anything about future plans for Shining games they may be developing on Shining Ark.
I played Shining Tears and Wind on my PS2 long ago. These are similar to Falcom's Ys series and Namco Bandai's Tales Of series. Little cute characters. Sega should build a series franchise from "Shining" based to be known widely. These video games have anime based fans on West, like me. Mana Khemia, Atelier, Ar Tonelico, Tales Of, Shiining, Ys...

Shining the Holy Ark is easily my favourite game in the series.
I still remember the incredibly catchy battle theme to this day.
Sega, the west needs to see the shining force titles you have developed for the PSP; those are great games, reminiscent of this once amazing title that has seen its pinnacle on the saturn.
Anyone knows if people have worked on translations for the psp games and where to get'em?
I'm not sure if this is related to this series or not, but I have very fond memories of Shining Force III on the Saturn.
I loved that game to death, along with Panzer Dragoon Saga.
I played and beat it so many times back when I was younger until one day, my whole game collection was stolen!
Now I think both games are like rare and somewhat valuable.... man how I missed those games.
Pokemon Company's crossover of Pokemon and Tecmo Koei's Nobunaga's Ambition series topped the charts in its first week of sales.

Meh,,, Sega haven't made a good shining force game since 3 game of Saturn, this game is a good example why Japanese RPG and Japanese games in general have fallen far behind their western counterparts.
We need more JRPGs on PS3 dammit!
i enjoy anime but i don't really like that art style in video games. i dunno why jrpg's have adopted this look this generation.
Sega should really continue the TRPG style of Shining Force series.
