Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: Werewolves debate – should feature be added?

Product-Reviews writes: Perhaps we’re missing something, but since when did werewolves make up a key element of the gameplay? Elder Scrolls fans will know that players will be able to play the role of a vampire in Skyrim just like in Oblivion, but are we going over the top slightly in wanting werewolves in the game as well? Players of Morrowind will probably disagree though, as they may have had a taste of playing as a werewolf thanks to the Bloodmoon expansion.

They have vampires, how hard is it to include werewolves? I have a feeling Bethesda are trying to keep this as the 'last big secret' anyway.

IrishAssa5333d ago (Edited 5333d ago )

Ok. They said they weren't including them because they weren't good enough yet, they might DLC them in the future. They said Horses might not be in if they are the same crap as in Oblivion. Luckily they improved them up to a decent standard, they still have no horse combat but whatever/

DaThreats. Werewolves were in an Expansion for Morrowind and we actually thought they would be in this, but they ain't probably. There are were boars though? I think. Dunno if you can turn into them.

You would just expect werewolves in Skyrim, they suit the lore behind it well and since Skyrim is suppose to be the extreme successor...it's just expected. And to people below, it's not like it came out of no where. Anyhow, doesn't matter much to me, it's a single feature I will miss but it's not gonna hamper the rest of the game which alread looks and sounds immense

Look i want werewolves cause it would be fun like it was Morrowind. i like vampires but i didn't like them Oblivion cause it was so pointless being a vampire and having to keep out of the sun all of the time. do i think they left the werewolves out and put them in the DLC to make money? yes i do and this is the biggest bane i have with games nowadays.

seriously tho wereboars? the people of skyrim are going to die laughing when i jump out from behind the bushes. it just doesn't strike dread into the hearts of my victims does it? People will think of a Pumbaa from Lion King on two legs. Just by saying it "wereboars" makes you cry :( I smell horse armour problems.

Because there are vampires, there should be werewolves too?
What's this twilight?

ZombieAssassin5333d ago

Yea because vampires and werewolves were never in the same universes before that sparkling vampire trash /s

Robert Pattinson is part of our lives now..there's no point hiding it.

IrishAssa5333d ago

Ya they are often in the same universe. Twilight just took both of them and fu**ed them up until they were shi*

Captain Qwark 95333d ago

how about becuase they were in elder scrolls morrowind and they were awesome, you must be a big fan of the series.....

so yes they should be added imo

LightofDarkness5333d ago

Where the hell did all this werewolf crap come from? Who the HELL CARES?

SITH5333d ago

"Who the hell cares?"

Yet you post here.

Fans care high-speed. People who have played as a werewolf in bloodmoon and know that a werewolf kicks more ass than the vampires in morrowind. That is who cares.

LightofDarkness5333d ago (Edited 5333d ago )

Ah well, as long as it was actually a gameplay feature present in a previous game that fans actually care about, not some wishy washy "BUT I HEART TWILITE" sort of thing.

EDIT: @ below

ABSOLUTELY AGREE. Vampires need to return to being sadistic, nihilistic, narcissistic, murderous parasites and werewolves need to return to that neurotic "monster within" type.

Wizziokid5333d ago

go no it has nothing to do with that crap,
to me that has ruined the vampire and werewolf image, we need more lost boys and american werewolf in london esc movies

A_Troll_From_Ign5333d ago

add van helsing and you have the full set

ECM0NEY5333d ago

they can't get a 14 year old game to run smoothly?

jjb1981165d ago

That's ridiculous, lol. I'm waiting for the guy that says its too cpu-intensive for the Switch 2. This game is old af and has been released like 17 times.
