I'm excited...I love 3rd person shooters! Hopefully gameplay of it will come out yesterday :P

JaredH5331d ago (Edited 5331d ago )

It's only online co-op missions as CaseyDHudson from Bioware confirmed on twitter. idk how to link it so:

"Yes, co-op MP missions for #ME3: they're real, and they're spectacular. Rest assured it's nothing of what you've feared. More soon..."

People will complain anyway I'm guessing.

I dunno... I'm thinking it looks like somebody just killed his puppy or something like that.

gillri5331d ago

oh dear, I really dont care about the MP.

whatever time they spend on devleoping an MP I would prefer them to just polish the campaign or add a couple of new misisons to it. A bit ike Uncharted 3

I mean why change with the last game of the trilogy? why not just do an MP with the inevitable 1th game of a new story in the ME universe?

mkernan5331d ago

I dunno.... I don't think it'll affect the quality of the game, personally. I do suspect that it may have something to do with the game's delay though.

WhiteLightning5331d ago (Edited 5331d ago )

It'll ruin the game....turst me, adding a pointless feature like online into a great single player game never ends well

People play ME for the story....not tacked on co-op or online. The whole point of your team mates is so YOU can control them...wheres the little bit of strategy at commanding your team mates as your low on ammo. Although ever since they added ammo I've relied on my team mates a whole lot less.

Ethereal5331d ago

While I totally agree with your points, and would prefer not to see multiplayer in ME. Not all games have failed with the intro to multiplayer. Uncharted is a good example. But, I hear ya though. I don't think it needs it....but HEY blame as these stupid MP junkies this gen.

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
