The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Gets a Detailed Map

GR - "While we have seen the game played in quite a few events, few of us had any idea where everything happened in the game world. Bethesda has released a map of Skyrim to remedy that absence of knowledge, and with it we can speculate on where the events in the demos are localized."

I love how when you pull out of the world onto the overhead map it's rendering in full 3D. It looks so incredible, I love it. This game has so much win I am just in awe.

@Master
Getting the PS3 version as well. Excited

MasterCornholio5346d ago

Yeah reminds me of google maps but rendering in real time. Its a great feature and i am impressed that they managed to pull it off with these old consoles.

BTW im getting it for the PS3 if they dont screw it up.

ALL YOUR NIRNROOT ARE BELONG TO ME.

Dovahkiin5345d ago

All of our nirnroot belong to Sinderion, in his Skingrad cellar.

It looks kind of small but then again the devs said that the map would be as large as oblivion and that game was pretty big if you don't fast travel.

Chocoboh5345d ago (Edited 5345d ago )

Almost as good as Minecraft maps.

edit: also the map reminds me of Canada for some reason.

ArabianKnight015345d ago

Epic! Im gonna scour every inch of that map in search of all the loot and baddies possible, no stone will be left un-turned, no demons will be left alive and since leveling depends on how often you use a certain ability I will try and be as diverse with my skill sets as possible to prolong the level cap. (Goes into hyper sleep til 11.11.11) X.Xzzzz

they can't get a 14 year old game to run smoothly?

jjb1981159d ago

That's ridiculous, lol. I'm waiting for the guy that says its too cpu-intensive for the Switch 2. This game is old af and has been released like 17 times.
