Lucky for us, a distaste for cliche quickly steered me off that path. The Gunstringer handles a bevy of timeless themes with too much love to sully this review with a trite gimmick. It's a game that takes a handful of seemingly unrelated genres and forms a union between them that exudes impossible amounts of charm. It's also a game that provides irrefutable validation for adopters of Kinect.

With Microsoft announcing that they’re stopping production of the Kinect, we reflect and look back at some of the highlights that the motion based peripheral has given us.
I actually prefer KS season one, and Kinect Adventure over most on the list. But its good that someone else was bold enough to say these were fun and interesting games to play.

GXC: "Twisted Pixel Games’ Kinect adventure, The Gunstringer may soon be finding a new home on Kinect for Windows PC."
I did not see this coming.
Don't see how an on-rails third person shooter "provides irrefutable validation for adopters of Kinect."
lets see a on rails kinect shooter. gets a a-
if this game was a move game it would be a c.
there is like 3 honest video games sites left out there. the rest all have a agenda or bias or are being money hatted by game cos.
wow, looking forward to seeing this first hand. thank god kinect finally got a good title. (child of eden was good too in guess...)
And this is why Twisted Pixel are one of the best indie devs out there.
