I've found that I really enjoy some of the arcade Kinect titles a lot more than the retail ones.
Haunt
Fruit Ninja
Wreckateer
Diabolical Pitch
Happy Action theater

Those are all cheap, solid options for Kinect titles on the arcade.

As far as retail titles go..
The Gunstringer
Kinect Sports 1 & 2
Dance Central 1 & 2
Kinectimals
Disneyland Adventures
Child Of Eden
Joyride
Rise Of Nightmares
Star Wars

Some got bad ratings or reviews, but I managed to have a lot of fun with the games I listed above. Maybe it helps someone out that is new to Kinect?

Child of Eden should of been longer but it was a great experience I kind of miss it since I traded it in.

Ya, I laughed too. Its been a smashing success though, its really helped Microsoft extend the life of the Xbox 360 and its brought some new and interesting gaming experiences to the masses.

20+ million people in less then 2 years cant be wrong!

Hicken5026d ago

Yeah, they can, actually. It'd be interesting to see how many of those 20 million still play or even OWN their Kinects.

Kinect is a good idea, but its gaming-related execution has been generally poor. Perhaps Kinect 2 or 2.0 or whatever will be better, though.

I guess that brings up another question, how often do you use your Playstation 3 when we see you continually posting in Kinect topics even though you have no interest in one or a XBOX360 for that matter.

I've never seen anyone whine so much about the negativity surrounding Sony yet be one of the most negative members here. Kinect did what the Wii did, get more people interested in playing games. I see nothing wrong with that, especially when we have more platforms and more software to choose from now more than any time in history.

Are video games art? Looking back at... Child of Eden

Jack writes: "“Are video games art?” This is a perennial argument, one with staunch advocates on both sides who are hard to sway. Naysayers, though, can be shown examples of art in video games that are hard to deny – such as the visuals of the sadly overlooked Child of Eden, released for Kinect in 2011."
