Beginner Guide 101:

Don't buy their games. You'll find in the small print they "may" remove the ability to play the game after 3 years.

I'm sorry but this is what will cause DD to fail, and that is if I can't play the game I want whenever I want then it isn't worth it for me to purchase it.

I tried OnLive and I liked the idea of it but the graphics were crap (I'm on FIOS connection) and the above issue was to much. No thanks.

its probably just your connection. And the resolution is determined on the resolution of the screen you are using. I've tried Onlive and I think its freaking awesome. It needs more games, and even if what you say is true about the 3 years thing, I doubt they are gonna take off anything that isn't worth taking off.

Your absolutely right. It must be my 35/15 connection, confirmed with Speedtest.net. My 22" HP monitor and computer that plays SC2 on Ultra settings is clearly holding OnLive back.

Also, in regards to your belief that they won't take off anything that isn't worth taking off is subjective. What they deem isn't 'cool' may differ completely from what I think is or isn't. The point is if I bought it I should be able to play it as much as I want, whenever I want.

War Thunder debuts on OnLive's CloudLift streaming service

Samit Sarkar of Polygon writes: "War Thunder, the free-to-play military MMO from Russian studio Gaijin Entertainment, is launching today on CloudLift, the cloud-based gaming service from OnLive, the latter company announced today.

CloudLift, which OnLive debuted this past March in open beta, is a subscription-based service that allows players to "lift" a limited selection of Steam titles they already own to the cloud, and then stream them to a variety of devices without needing to download the full game. Those devices include Mac- and Windows-based computers, as well as TVs and Android tablets. Because CloudLift is integrated with Steam, save games are synced across devices."
