BF3 vs MW3: Is EA Being Immature?

Liam of Botchweed.com writes:

"If you’re not deaf, blind, dumb or otherwise mentally incapable, you’re probably aware that a heated conflict has erupted between two of this years biggest shooters. The corporate mud-slinging has been well-documented over the last few months, but the more I think about what’s been said and done, I can’t help but come to the conclusion that EA appears more like the spoiled brat out of the two giants."

It's what I've been saying all along, there is no console footage to base getting Battlefield 3 off of. Funny part is the most pre orders for Battlfield 3 are on the Xbox 360, which has absolutely no footage or information about it available.

Gotta give EA and Dice some credit though, they managed to dupe a majority of console gamer's with PC footage, PC footage that hasn't even been duplicated in the beta as yet. So far nothing in the leaked beta has looked as good as what EA/Dice has shown.

Something is definitely fishy with all of this. 2 months till release and still no console footage......SMDH

You have a valid point, but I think we can agree that the graphics in BF3 will be at minimum on par with BF:BC 2's graphics. If that is the case, then the argument can be made that it's still going to be a great looking game on consoles.

To think that BF:BC 2 wasn't a great looking console title would be a bias argument.

I read that DICE said that the console version of Battlefield 3 will "Blow BF:BC2 visuals out of the water" So I don't really know, I mean, there close to launch date and they barley released any console footage (aside the one from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.)

EA is being immature and they'll be left crying because MW3 will sell more. That's all it comes down to.

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

US Lawmakers Urge Review Of EA Sale

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
