Seriously the only thing I think will be bad about this games is the Bugs. It seems like bethesda always make a buggy game and patch it later on. Best examples are Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
Heck Oblivion has loads of Game Breaking Bugs on the ps3 that were never updated but i know they were updated on Xbox.

But... that's not stopping me from enjoying a EPIC GAME!!!! I LOVE TES SERIES!

I know i'll sink hundreds of hours into this game and i cannot wait!

Hope the Brotherhood Quests are just as fun as they were in oblivion, i think that was the best storyline of oblivion.
I was not to fond of the main story in oblivion.

i thought the slow mo finisher would be a downer but after a dragon fight or difficult boss it'll be nice to watch for a second instead of them just flopping to the ground

Some points were eyebrow raising but for the most part it just sounded like somebody whining about their own personal preferences before the game has even released.

...Is that really a challenge for any gamer? It's a Bethesda game--it's going to have tons of things that suck. This is a GIVEN. The simple fact of the matter is that we're all going to play the hell out of the game because, no matter how many glaring flaws it may have, it's still, by far, better than any of the competition.

Dragons enough said lame unimaginative, ive made a medievil world better put a tokken dragon in it def not getting this dragon tripe.

I would've thought the main reason Skyrim might suck would be an insane amount of bugs, bearing in mind Bethesda's... track record...

I am soo looking forward to this, other developers have tried making open world single player rpg's but they fail soo bad it hurts my insides.

I am glad developers like Bethesda exist as they do not get that itchy feeling inbetween their fingers to churn out a sequel every year or every few months and then rip us off blind with DLC *cough* black ops *cough* (And yes yes yes before you all throw the horse armour at me you know what I mean).

Also is there going to be a collectors edition of Skyrim? If so any details? Or pricing for UK?

Having a thousand bugs in a game gives it character.

My only real worry is that they make it all too Nord, too Barbarian. When they're talking about the different environments they mention different kinds of areas you could run through swinging a sword but I don't hear any talk of different types of cities, towns or villages. I hope there's still enough depth and variety to the non questing moments of the game that you can still just spend hours walking around a city getting into all kinds of political and social adventures.

Skyrim will live up to the hype, that's reality.

Hmmm, I don't see how you can think it will be harder to find items when they're divided into sub categories. It's much quicker than sifting through everything all in one place.

You don't know. When the player is going to the map it is not the choice of the player to decide when to travel. But rather it is the quest that decides when the player has to travel. In another word it doesn't matter when the player has to use the fast travel feature to go to a marker but since the quest mandates it, it makes the fast travel feature more of a crucial element into the gameplay rather than an optional one.

That is why the map and the travel feature needs to be made optional, or in the very least in the hardcore mode

I think the lack of customization is the big disappointment. Clothing is down to two slots? So now everybody doesn't have the same voice like oblivion (which is expensive to remedy) but everyone shops at the same store for their clothes (really easy to avoid).

I get why they did this they need to squeeze more power out of the engine, but still

You can detest hype all you want, but it's an element of our materialistic society- and that smart people want to buy what they are interested in.

I think they are some good points. But then again... not every game is perfect.

For the skill debate, it is not downgraded or dumped down. In fact, I think they upgraded it only if you look at it in different way.

First of all, we got perks which expands your current skills and I am sure there will be lots of them. the good thing is, it is not possible to acquire all perks in one character so the game will force you to replay it again with a different gameplay style to gain missed perks.

Secondly, we got Dragon Shouts and those really look cool and different from magics. So far we seen the slow-time shout and there will be a fire breathing shout if I am not mistaken.

Finally, the other primary skills have been improved, some stuff merged with other skills. For example, Hand-to-Hand now is affected with your Strength. It is not like they completely removed the ability to hit with your hand or all characters will deal the same amount of attack damage.

Anyway, for true elder scrolls fans, I don't think they will care about downgrading/upgrading the game unless it was given away to different developers. We all trust Bethesda with Elder Scrolls :) They are the creators of the series after all.
