Toobad 2 reviews have already said the PS3 version looks better and graded accordingly. You lose junkbots.

I just looked at the screen shots... This is by far one of the worst comparisons I've seen.... lol Honestly, there pics weren't even close to being in the same location or having the same gun... pitiful.. AND they weren't even direct feed... just a fine digital camera..

Are people blind? It's clear in these pics that the Xbox 360 version is made to look superior. I believe these imagies were put together by a xbox 360 fanboy as they seem unfair to the ps3 version.

They look the same. Which is good news for both systems considering how much "weaker" everyone seems to claim it is.

What kind of comparison is this, at least take the same photos. why is so hard to get definite answer.

The game isnt still pictures...its moving...in action. Until we see video or even more peoples reactions it dont mean nothing.

If you own a 360 your getting the 360 version and if you own a PS3 your getting the PS3 version.So unless your egos are so low that the only way it can be uplifted is to have a "better" game, why do you even care?

C'mon, seriously, lets compare a shot of a helicopter in city to one of a forest full of red trees!! WTF, and you guys can say which one is better!? The pictures aren't even high res, so half the friggin details are lost right off the bat!

Meh you'd need someone who was unbiased to buy it on each system. Maybe JC will be on and can give us a clue as to which really is. All sites are biased... This is just a fight not worth fighting.

The comparisons are not even in the same locations nor is the guy's character holding the same gun. You'd think that someone would have the common sense to take these picture on the same levels while holding the same weapon... >_>

Why are these screen shot taken from different area of the game. Why not take the same screen shots from the exact area of the game to have an actually comparison.
But who cares, this game is fun and graphical differences should matter in which version you are going to get. Get PS3 version if more people who you play online with are getting it for their ps3. Get the 360 version because of the same reason. Or get the version for the system you own(PC, 360 and PS3).

I've got to play all 3 versions... but not online (yet).

In my honest opinion.

All of them have the same look and feel, at first impressions. The PC definitely spanks them both when it comes to image quality, resolution, etc. And it is much smoother and of course the mouse+keyboard combo makes for much smoother gameplay. Simply put, PC > Consoles, of course you need a decked out PC to get that result.

On the console side, the PS360 version look almost the same. The PS3 has some rough edges in some spots, and more *blurrier* texturing in other spots (having the lowres, stretched look). Not that the 360 is doing any more better, but the spots where PS3 suffers, the 360 does a bit better, but you would only notice it IF you were actually looking for it. The lighting is about the same, but the 360 seems to be doing a much better job with some of the effects. And it seems the 360 version has some lighting effects not even present in the PS3 version, at all. Both games get hit with some slow down, the PS3 just a little more in specific spots, but even the 360 slowed a bit in other spots the PS3 did not. Otherwise they were both smooth and consistent.

On controls, this is subjective. Personally I loathe the Sony controllers, so to me, it wasn't as smooth a ride as the 360 controller provides. The audio is the same for both, loud and banging.

Otherwise, this is probably the BEST multiplatform PS360 game out so far. A much better effort than other companies had done. Definitely better than Halo 3.

I have the game on the PS3 and it is the best game I have played online so far. Before this all I played was Rainbow 6 vegas and Warhawk. It looks great on the PS3 and The Xbox360. I have both systems but chose the PS3 version because I didnt want to renew my Live account if I could play for free. I haven't played the 360 version so I wont judge it but some people I have been playing online with have said that it looks better than the 360 version and that it looks better than the PC version on the PS3 unless you have an expensive rig. this guy said he had a 8800 something card in his PC. They game runs with no Framerate issues, no issues at all on the PS3 version so far. No matter what version you have the game is great and enjoy.

These shots are not comparable, the PS3 shots hardly has any geometry at all. Most of the shots beside one, does not show nothing in the distance, I wonder if the PS3 version has a low draw distance. The 360 shots has a wider and longer draw distance, enemies on screen, smoke, destruction, special effects that are not present in the PS3 images. So based on the images I say the 360 version looks better because there is something actually going on screen then just ground shots with a few trees.

well those comparisons suck! they are way too different! but i have to say this game looks so much better than i thought it would. I kinda regret my boycott on COD games. i guess i'll rent it.

I own both systems and picked up the PS3 version today. I bought the PS3 version to take advantage of HDMI (my 360 doesn't have it). The game looks and plays great! I haven't seen any slow downs yet. Haven't tried it online yet.

The only thing annoying so far is that your squads AI is so good that your team often takes many of the enemies out in earlier levels before you have a chance. The AI on both sides is incredible!

Which ever system you have go pick this title up! You can't lose!

Oh and in the training stage at the beginning of the game....I think I missed the rope about 10 times!!

wow, the Xbox 360 screens are leagues ahead of the PS3 ones here, but we'll have to see proper comparison shots and videos first before it can be confirmed, going off these though it seems that Xbox 360 yet again provides gamers with the best looking and playing games

*the cell is not "optimal" for games
*you have to work harder to get good results on ps3
*rsx can't hang with xenon

*ps3 has less memory than 360
*multiplatform games are better on 360

I'v noticed that too. Other that that they look the same to me They both look way better than this in life so the Sony fans saying it looks like the PS3 version got short changed the same can be said about the 360 version.

They are too much alike to gripe about it one way or the other. Its not like the reviewers are all of a sudden going to get shy about saying one version is better over the other because of Call Of Duty when they've been very open about pointing out differences in the past thus the reviewers saying theres no difference and giving them the same scores(reviewers using the same review teams for both version).

I think they both look great, but judging from the images the xbox 360 version is leaps bound thanks to the lighting effects.

PLZ check the amazing HDR lighting on the 360 weps for example an kisy all round but to give ua clue check the hdr on the 360 weps looks astonishing the 360 lighting is 100% better either than that they both look the same .

you can't compare these screens, to me the only way to compare is to have the systems hooked up to two tv's of the exact brand and model. and play the same level side by side. I doubt you could even tell the difference, both console look great.

If you are going to do a comparisson at least make sure the shots you are comparing are in the same location and not just completely random shots.

The Screenshot quality for both is poor, so its likely making things look at whole lot worse then they really are.

Cool, I can play this game online without having to pay $50 a year.

On purpose they take daily photo's from the PS3 version and the darker or special lighted other photo's from the 360 version. These can't even be compared.

That's the Sony Protection Group. Since some time they invaded N4G with multiple members (as yesterday was shown drtysouf21 is one of them that got discovered), with the following:

Vote/post PS3 positive new only
Report down any negative PS3 news (stuff that is true)
Report down any positive 360 news (stuff that is news and true)
Vote/post 360 negative news even if its false and totally made up

This picture comparison is once more, way off from an actual comparison but SPG 'promotion material', the real comparison pictures and videos will be in soon so anyone can make a REAL verdict.

Sony Protection Group??? Where the jealous Sony boys go to try to make things up to make themselves feel better for purchasing a crappy product. Anyway this will be just another big seller for the 360 while the ps3 will probably sell just a few...just like the others.

If you look at the numbers and letters on the bottom of the screen in both version the second set of pics down you'll see either somebody didn't try hard enough to get it right or they tried to tamper with the pics making the PS3 version seem better looking despite the fact that it does not. Not saying somebody did this on purpose or even that the person that set this up is even an Sony fan.

Enlarge the pics when you get a chance and look at the compass text on the second set of pics down and you'll see the quality is not even on par with 480i on the 360 version.

People are playing this game folks is somebody trying to pull some BS?. Even the Arcade mode thread video that was posted the other day was clean vs these pics in this comparison for the 360 version. Fat fuzzy letters and numbers in the 360 version in this comparison, come on.

Sony fans need this game to come out on top to validate their purchase and even with this post it still doesn't prove much other than the 360 version having more life/vibrance and a slight edge in lighting.

Speaking as a pure PS3 fan you can't really tell from these screens, they're both badly taken and they're not even of the same levels/areas.

If the XB360 shots look better - the PS3 fans claim the gameplay matter more. When the PS3 version is better - the XB360 suddenly are not as interested in the comparison and frame rate as in the previous thread where the XB360 came out tops. Where will it end?

Just enjoy the game folks. The devs did a good job - so stop bashing the other version. They are close enough, and because it is multi platform - share the same assets in game most likely.

Now that Jim Ryan is gone just need to remove Herman Hulst from his position! And maybe give Shuhei the position he deserved.

This gen hasn't been the best for games, last gen consoles are still out there and now there's been talk of the PS6 and Xbox Two for a year or so. Many games this gen will be ported to next gen and the cycle will continue. The re-release of the Neo Geo AES+, games on cartridge for £70 ($95), gaming is going back in time. Gaming has gone pricing mad with the high cost of games, consoles and controllers. The men and women at the top are clueless.

It’s always interesting to hear behind-the-scenes stories like this, especially involving veterans like Shuhei Yoshida and leadership figures like Jim Ryan. That said, there are usually multiple sides to decisions at that level. It could be less about not “listening” and more about differences in long-term vision for PlayStation. Yoshida played a huge role in shaping the brand, so whatever the reason, his impact is undeniable.

If true, and I'm inclined to believe it is, it goes to show that Sony lost their way when they became more western/didn't respect the PlayStation origin story. Andrew House and Jack Tretton did great work, but they also didn't try to fundamentally change the PlayStation DNA. Ryan oversaw the death of Japan Studio and a live service direction.

I miss the first three generations of PlayStation. The way they turned PS3 around, we knew they meant business. We were all worried for a bit there around launch. Eventually from 2008 they started shifting slowly. But since Yoshida was fired, it's never been the same. Still enjoy my PS5 daily. I got a backlog dating back to PS2 lol So I'm fine but new games aren't as appealing anymore.

It seems like we were thrown on to the worst timeline possible where everything is too expensive and the wrong people were put in positions that makes the world a shitty place. We could have had Shu as the head of PS but we got the shitty alternative. Same goes for everyone in power around the world. Doesn’t matter the company or country the majority of us got the shitty picks and the world is declining like never before. I do think PS can come out of this because of their studios, talent and IP but they need someone more in touch with gamers leading things like Shu was. They’re still the best place for console gaming imo but it could be much better than it is especially without the massive live service failures. The rest of the world I have a lot less hope for right now. Hopefully the pendulum swings back towards the good ole days but I’m preparing for the worst.

There's another guy who recently "retired" as CEO of another large gaming company, after doing a dismantling job as lead for well over a decade.

seems legit, the business man, fires the one who has ideas to move the business forward.

Jim Ryan is the reason why we are entering year 6 since the PS5 launch and many of us don't feel like the PS5 has gotten started as yet.

I hope going forward, we will see a return to form.
