CheatCC says - This year at E3, the fighting game genre lacked in quantity. While there were a million and one different shooters to choose from, fighting game fans were basically limited to Street Fighter X Tekken (which was awesome), Skullgirls (which was even more awesome), Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (which was Tekken 6 with a tag button), or SoulCalibur V (which had no public showings.) Starved for new titles in my favorite genre, I turned to Reality Fighters on the PS Vita to get my fix. Hey! Who spiked my fighting game with a casual augmented reality game?
VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "While fully-fledged fighting games on handhelds have achieved varying levels of success in the past, they weren’t really a thing until the PSP. Prior to this there would always be certain concessions to get them running on weaker hardware. Sony’s powerful portable console, however, allowed developers to experiment with new ways of delivering their titles that would sometimes be hugely successful (e.g. Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection), which in turn meant new games were forthcoming throughout the console’s life. This mantra continued onto the Vita, which received ports of a number of high-profile fighting games, from launch through to the present day.
The ever-expanding industry of eSports has somewhat put a damper on handheld fighting games, as the fanbase moves increasingly towards arcade sticks, perfect latency, and other measures that always ensure a fair fight. That doesn’t mean the Vita doesn’t have access to its fair share of fighting games, though – whether you like 3D arena brawlers, party-friendly multiplayer titles, or pixel-perfect technical 2D fighters, you’re well served by the selection that’s available here, especially when including backwards-compatible PSP & PS1 games."

Actually, we're going back through the catalog of all the Vita games and trying to review as many as possible that we might have missed. Reality Fighters was never a high priority and was put on the back burner for a long, long time.

Reality Fighters? I kind of forgot this was even a game. Wow. I always thought it was a tech demo. Of course, I thought Little Deviants was the same thing.
It brings me back to the days when augmented reality was going to change the world. AR, 3D gaming, and "you are the controller" are all things I lump together as "nice try, but I don't think so."

How much store real-estate does the Vita get at walmart? They seem to get very little in the stores in NZ. If a product is moving well retailers normally dedicate a good amount of in-store real-estate.
Yeah, there's like no Vita shelving in the Warehouse. It's scrunched in between PS3 games and Xbox sections.
Vita has taken over where the psp games use to be at both my local Walmarts. they have 2 full cases of ps3 games and one case of Vitas, games, 8Gb memory cards, and some of the most recent psp games. At least where im at Vita has a decent exposure.
