I dont see it happening. The game isnt 4 months old yet. people have only scratched the surface of the games depth. It would be senseless but stranger things have happened I guess.

I really just think there will be about 10 new characters annonced. Some returning chars and some brand new ones. And new costumes and online features etc...... All DLC.

That just sucks. It's like sports games, You buy a FIFA 2011 then 6 months later there comes FIFA 2012...

Why don't they just do what MK is doing, releasing dlc characters.

DLC characters seem a more appropriate approach.
This can save capcom time and money.

Yes. Everyone is asking for DLC. In super or whatever they call it you get a bunch of characters all in one plus Capcom would have taken the advice and see what is happening in the tournament scene and make some tweaks for the gameplay and fix the online.

If it happens then i'll expect them to release it next year like they did with SSIV but if it's coming out like next month then thats just ripping of customers, it would be way to soon.

Honestly a Super edition might be better for the more dedicated fanbase. We know Capcom is gonna charge $5 per character if they are DLC, so if they make a Super edition for $40 that would be the same price as 8 characters. Most of the rumors are saying that the game will add 12 characters.
