
Todd Howard, design director on Bethesda Softworks' Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, has said Call of Duty is hardcore and its multiplayer component has RPG elements.

On PC I know an indie developed shooter name Red Orchestra 2 & they offer dedicated servers! And They don't make even half of what activision makes!
