DICE, creators of Battlefield 3, have stated that they believe the PSN hack was a good thing in the long-run.
EA is laying off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.

DICE is quickly banning cheaters in the Battlefield 6 beta, with a developer confirming that they are aware of the hacks.
They need to add an option for crossplay with other console players only. Otherwise I’ll definitely deactivating crossplay altogether. These cheaters on PC are already ruining this game and it’s still a few months from general release.
What’s the appeal in cheating @ multiplayer? Deep down, you must know you suck lol. Yay?
I never understood that. I remember a guy that commented on a YT video I saw had said that he uses Cronus because he works a lot and doesn't have time to sweat. Lol, I was like "wtf?".
Developers should find a way that if they detect your cheating in a game, have it so none of your shots register against other players, you can't kill anyone. Bascially, you would be useless in that game LOL.

Guaranteed, of course Sony will make it much much better than it was before in terms of security.
The security will be better, thats a given. But all the money, time and resources the hack cost Sony has to come/be cut from somewhere.
I like the fact DICE are who they are! I mean, they seem pro PS3 while many third parties are more towards 360. I have both consoles and love them both but its refreshing to see them take so much pride and interest in the PS3. They are right, the hack could make a better psn online. BF3 is looking awesome on PS3 also.
