Good to better strategy is what they should have applied. Yet Battlefield V pretended to be something it was not and now it's gonna be damage control. But I think it's too late. They lost half their player base.

They're definitely scrambling now, but the damage is done DICE and EA, I am not preordering, and I'm not getting this atrocious attempt to add feminist propaganda to a WWII game.

Putting all their art and design choices to one side, the gameplay is trash anyway. The worst kind of shooter with no tactics. Feels so much like COD.

Remove woman soldiers from the Axis and the Americans (who didn't have woman soldiers in their frontlines at that particular historic period), and all will be forgiven

A Battlefield veteran here, played the alphas 1 and 2 and the beta last week, i haven't pre ordered it but i'm going to buy it on day 1. I don't believe in pre orders, ill pay my money when the game is ready and not paying anything to them until then. Its a good game, just like other battlefield games, sure it has problems, the revive feature is horrible, but really cant fault it. Historically in accurate, so what. I hate how lefty crap has gotten into everything these days, but at the end of the day your trying to shoot people, you dont give a crap that the team of snipers are women or that have a coat with some symbol on it, either way id still buy it, i love battlefield and ill be there.

I agree squire, I have been playing since BF1942, thousands upon thousands of hours and honestly, a few liberties taken with historical accuracy hasn't changed the fact that BF5 is a blast to play in my opinion.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
