Complex Worlds, Mainstream Graphics

Operation Flashpoint: Red River moves the near-future storyline of the infantry shooter from the tundra-covered island of Skira to the sandy deserts of Tajikistan. It retains the key hallmark of an Operation Flashpoint game: vast, seamless playing areas many kilometers wide in which players can choose their own tactics. It also has the same realistic squad-based combat -- with AI teammates or four players in co-op -- and an unnerving attention to detail and authenticity.

Off Topic: John man I can't wait for your game!

Some mediocre - crap games there. Couldn't even include any Codemasters racing games? It's the only thing they're good at.

Canadiangamernet4295d ago

Including the Dirt series in the bundle would have been awesome but i wouldn't say they are crappy games. I liked Overlord 1 & 2 and both Operation Flashpoint are decent FPS the other one are so so for me.

guitarded774295d ago

Like I said... crappy to mediocre. I liked Overlord too. Didn't care for Operation Flashpoint. But eve liking Overlord, I have no illusions that it isn't a mediocre game.

Even though it's still technically a good deal, the whole $5 or £4 thing annoys me. Humble bundle doesn't do this. No thanks.

Operation Flashpoint: Red River - The Shooter That Could Have Been The Greatest

Mobile & Apps: "One of the most underrated shooters of the previous generation was Operating Flashpoint: Red River for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. With all its problems, I believe this is a game that is worth playing, however, it is not too hard to see why the game didn't quite kick off, as it should have."

I liked it, didn't quite finish it though. Maybe I will now.

Loved this game, it was dumbed down from Dragon Rising but still an enjoyable game. Was still offputting to people looking for instant/non stop action

Ha! Some colleagues and I are actually planning on hitting this one up tonight. Great game.
