Coming into Dark Souls I felt like I had a pretty good grasp of the game since I was a seasoned Demon Souls player, little did I know I was about to get OWNED! It took me roughly two minutes until I was killed. Pretty sad. The game plays and feels like Demon Souls but this time the enemies are a lot tougher and smarter. So to answer the question "how hard is Dark Souls?" Its F@#K&%$ hard! As you will see in the video below I did not do very well, but that does not mean I did not like the game; in fact I loved it! I cant wait to get me hands on the final copy.

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Well, it's not that he knew how to actually roll in combat, which is necessary when attempting to melee a spearman, and then he decided to give them the advantage with the hallway as a bottleneck.
Would have loved to see him just go head-to-head against the dragon ;) Would have been a much shorter video, though.
I love demons souls and will buy this game day 1. I love the challenge because it makes you feel like you cant let your guard down. Also you can always make you character stronger since its a RPG, or you can go online and team up with others if your having a really hard time.
In the age of devs making their games easier to appeal to a new audience who wont play their games anyways(looking especially at you NINJA GAIDEN 3), its great to see some developers go out and make their next game even harder!! YAY
edit- yes. that is an awesome vidoe because it seems like it is exactly like demon's souls(even the "you died" part), and that what I was hoping for.
Just what i wanted to hear i had to play demons souls again because of all this hype lol. Can not wait!!
I have this game already preordered, it looks so great, but I didn´t play Demons Souls, hope my gaming things are going to survive my rage. :D
