Some great titles at some great prices there. Very nice.

limewax5459d ago

Good deals yes, However I only use Steam, only joined PC gaming since it was about, and as such feel pretty comfortable sticking with it even if I miss these deals.

Guess my point is, As good a deal as it is, It surely would have sold better on Steam, as it appears many like me, Use it as their sole PC gaming platform nowadays. For anyone who joined PC gaming recently its kind of the easy pick up and play, No fixes needed (most of the time) platform

blackhrt865460d ago

Wow showing love to PC gamers. That's pretty rare nowadays.

BeastlyRig5459d ago (Edited 5459d ago )

not as rear as it used to be! Rage (comes with mod tools),Metro,Deus Ex,The Witcher 2 & BF3 pc is lead platform!

And we still are getting Dota2,Arma3,SWTOR,Guild Wars2,Diablo2,Red Orchestra2,StarCraft Expansion,Skyrim (comes with mod tools),StreetFighter Arcade edition etc!! not so bad!

I hope this becomes a trend!

limewax5459d ago

Skyrim come with mod tools?!? you just made my day

TheFodi5460d ago

I was actually just thinking that it's way easier to find good deals for PC games nowadays with downloads.

fluffydelusions5459d ago

It is. Preordering a game on steam is usually $44 and new PC games are $49 with the exception of COD of course.

iamgoatman5459d ago

It's definitely more convenient finding good deals through download services with the Steam sales etc, but sometimes you can pick up a bargain on Amazon or Ebay that even puts the DD services to shame. The best one I've found was Company of Heroes DX10 version for 1p.

kwicksandz5459d ago

and with the joys of importing from the UK with free shipping you can get new release PC games sometimes with steamworks intergration for $35-40

Wow Capcom will either beat EA this year with stuff like this or get bought out by them.

ATiElite5459d ago (Edited 5459d ago )

what's that your smoking cause it has your brain cells out of order.

Capcom will never be able to buy EA. here is EA's short list.

The Sims, Madden, FIFA. these 3 titles alone completely crush Capcom. Then on top of that EA publishes Bioware's biggest titles. Last but not least that little MMO coming out Star Wars something....Capcom with all it's Street Fighter sequels is doing very good but not good enough to beat or buy EA.

Electronic Arts Net Income 2010 $677 million
Capcom Net Income 2010 $23.6 million
Activision Net Income 2010 $418 million
Take two Interactive Net Income 2009 $137 million
Valve Corporation is a private company so no financial info is available but Steam alone made around a Billion dollars in 2010 as reported by NPD and other top financial reporters.

basically Capcom can't buy anybody!

DMC2 ranked 2nd and also DmC ranked 3rd?
What a load of BS!

ABizzel1395d ago

IMO

6. DMC2 6/10
5. DMC4 7.5/10 (Hated Nero, repeat bosses, Dante was the saving grace but only about half the game)
4. DmC 7.5/10 (solid overall, some great ideas, meh story, dialog sucked, and the director almost killed DMC)
3. DMC1 8.5/10 (all around solid)
2. DMC5 9/10 (carried by Dante & Nero gameplay, I didn’t like V’s, Nero’s better but still not a fan)
1. DCM3 10/10 (chef’s kiss)

Vits395d ago

Well, it worked.

This nothingburger of a opinion article got a lot of views and comments.

Pyrofire95394d ago

WHAT!? who in their right mind would put 2 near the top (not at the bottom) unironically?
I think all of them are worth playing in their own right honestly, except 2 unless you REALLY want to experience the whole series.

FinalFantasyFanatic394d ago (Edited 394d ago )

I honestly don't know what the author was smoking, personally I'd rank DMC3 as no.1, maybe DMC5 as second, DMC1 as third, DMC4 as fourth, and DMC as fifth and DMC2 last. such a bizarre list, mybe the author just has strange taste.

DMC2 anywhere but last is crazy. Awful list overall.

BlaqMagiq1395d ago

"Devil May Cry 2 isn’t trash. It’s just misunderstood by a fanbase that doesn’t like change."

This and putting DMC 2 number 2 is all I need to ignore this ranking. DMC2 is absolute trash and it's clear this person doesn't understand exactly why.

Flenter395d ago

For me: 3,1,5,4,2 and then .....Dmc

fsfsxii395d ago (Edited 395d ago )

Why is DmC last? Genuinely curious.

lellkay395d ago (Edited 395d ago )

Dmc is far superior to DMC2 come on

generic-user-name395d ago

"almost 20-year-old series"

It's 24 years old.

Ranking the Devil May Cry Series

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."

VersusDMC756d ago

First to last for me...3,4,5,1,2.

VersusDMC756d ago

Me leaving it out should be telling of my thoughts on it. Better than 2 as a DMC game.

Still a good game though.

Exvalos755d ago

What a weird name, it's essentially devil may cry, devil may cry lol

Cacabunga755d ago

Best to good for me: 3, reboot, 1, 5

2 and 4 are trash, didnt like any of them.
5 has very good gameplay variety but i hated the foes.. it is just insects the whole time. Reboot has the best foes for me

Friendlygamer756d ago

3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

monkey602756d ago (Edited 756d ago )

2.
Dmc.
4.
5.
1.
3.

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best

Yui_Suzumiya756d ago

1 and DmC. The rest are unimportant.

DarXyde756d ago

Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...

5, 3, 1, 4, 2.

I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.

But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me

SeTTriP756d ago

This right here is my order as I thought DMC 5 was amazing and obviously 3 comes after 4 was great and 1 for the nastilgic value it holds 2 was so terrible that my local GameStop gave full refunds to people who returned it.

Bless the adorably all digital future! When it comes to PC games its not as big of an issue because there should always be another way to access single player games, but still, I hate to see anything get delisted.

Aaroncls7834d ago

Well, DMC4 special edition has a lot of issues to run from Steam.
I have to get a modded executable to even be able to run the game on Windows 10.
Not sure if it is because the game runs in DirectX10 or what, but it sucks they have not even tried to fix it.

Sephiroushin832d ago (Edited 832d ago )

DMC4 Special Edition is not delisted, it was just the standard version, it has nothing to do with issues of performance or anything alike. Its just that Capcom probably do not want to sell the standard version, neither the standalone DMC3 version.
