From the way the developer's post reads I'm assuming that they're going to use a relationship structure similar to the one in DA2. I suppose if that is the case the same people who didn't like it in DA2 won't like it in ME3. My opinion in that instance applies here too, characters should have their own identities separate from the identity of the main character. If that identity is as a homosexual or bisexual that's fine, but the sexuality of a character shouldn't be reliant on the gender of the player character. That's what separates good characters from bad ones. If ME3 introduces new, interesting characters who happen to be gay, that's great, but if they make every character "Shepard-sexual" then that's lazy in my opinion.

Haven't they done that before in Dragon Age, KOTOR, Baulder's Gate, and Jade Empire. Oh, and Mass Effect 1 and 2, can't forget about those. But but the original LI's? Ok I understand not wanting this to detere these character's from their set personalities. Yet being gay is not gonna make Ashley buzz her hair or Garrus talk with a lisp. Honestly, if one of the original characters where playing for the other team it would be Kaiden(he always gave me that vibe, and hes so sensitive) and Thane(very artistic and in tune with his emotions which might just be his species but whatev).

Yet the thing that is mind boggling is if you are playing ur character as hetero, how does this affect you in the slightest???? If u don't want to bone Kaiden, DON'T FLIRT WITH HIM!!!!!
