LOL I read this on gaff, will they refund the money back to the gamers? highly unlikely. Didn't they just raise prices and pass it onto the gamers? Only Nintendo would send out the Ninjas to the US government.
That’s what I was thinking, imagine them winning hypothetically, getting a s**t load of money back which they would have lost if they hadn’t raised their prices and it’s business as normal.
It would just mean people paid more for no reason since they got the money back anyway.
A lot of companies partially passed the cost to consumers instead of all of it. They would still have to at least pay that back to gamers, but we know that won't happen. What's also sad is that prices won't come back down after the initial hike caused by tariffs.
People didn't understand the full repercussions of tariffs. That alone should have cost him the presidency if people knew it was a permanent price hike for consumers
Naw they should sue the government for forcing the tax to begin with. No one reasonably expects these companies to absorb the taxes. Many smaller companies tried and were shut down or faced to increase prices to try to maintain their business. The tariffs effect everyone.
I meant it mostly as a joke cause we all know the costs of these tariffs were passed onto the consumer. But it's seems no matter how vocal we are here in the states our "representatives" don't seem to care enough to represent us. And things are about to get worse.
The companies were doing what the law required then to do, the tariffs however were illegally implemented. Usually it's criminals we punish, you seem to have different ideas 🤷♂️
$250 controller is a terrible idea. Would be very cool though.

But I thnk they mean for it to have all kinds of connectivity features with the wii2. Maybe be able to play some VC wii2 games on the go with the 3ds? who knows what they may have planned.
Id actually be really surprised is nintendo DIDN'T do something like this.
I can see the next controller having this ability as you can save your mii to the wii controller now but I can also see them bring in the 3ds as another option as well like the psp and ps3 if they do then this would help sell more Nintendo consoles being able to use both devices. But I still don't see Nintendo selling the next console for over £250 as people will be able to look at the ps3 with move and 360 with kinect as the better option. I can't wait to see what they show us at e3 but no matter what is said now it will offer somthing the other two don't and will be an amazing console as Nintendo have never given us a bad console.
I'm sure someone already threw this out there... coincidence that there is the NGP, that in my opinion can be used as a optional controller. So if there is truth behind this touch controller for Nintendo's next system, we might see multi console releases for games usually needing a particular hardware feature. Although I don't see this working too well from Sony's side due to 'needing' to buy NGP to play a particular game on your PS3.
Just a random thought.
