Infamous Save Game carry over confirmed

Suckerpunch has now confirmed that a save game from the original Infamous, can carry over into the sequel. Decisions and karmatic level from the original will be factored into the second.

This is really great news for us die-hards.

rezzah5513d ago

Evilness all the way >=D

Makes the game much easier tbh.

You dont have to worry about not killing anyone on your path to destruction.

UnSelf5513d ago

thats what makes the Hero that much more fun. anyone can blow up everything, but being a hero is about sacrificing yourself for the greater good.

in the end the experience is much more enjoyable

good i keep all my saves :)

I will import my Good save

Danielmccue5513d ago

I have a Completed Infamous and Hero save game.

i'm guessing you can choose which one to carry over?

Ravage275513d ago

i'm wondering the same thing myself.

Oh and i hope platinum trophy holders gets to unlock something special *smug look*

Rainstorm815513d ago

Indeed, great news.

I completed the game twice, good and evil, i cant wait to do the same for inFamous 2

saladthieves5513d ago

Wait...what? Like in Mass Effect, except that your karma goes as well? Awesome!

Rainstorm815513d ago

Or like in Suikoden on PS1 you could also export your game save to the sequals...

Evildoomnerd5513d ago

I've pondered that as well since I have 2 gamesaves for both Karma levels.

niminator5513d ago

inFamous was one of the first games I Platinum'd, just couldn't tear myself away from it till I got that shiny trophy.

I wonder if we get a special bonus :)

That's more than fine. If you keep making one amazing quality game after another, with the low budget you've been utilising for games, then you'll continue to be extremly successful going forward. Don't take on a bigger load than you can handle comfortably.

Also, maybe it's time for a Sly Cooper game. No to Infamous, we've already got superhero games coming form Insomniac. Sorry Infamous fans but I want an open world Sly Cooper game.

Profchaos221d ago

Yotei is pretty incredible but I'd definitely love infamous to return to

Cacabunga220d ago (Edited 220d ago )

Wise decision by a very stupid PlayStation management this gen.
Now let Bend go 1st party too and explore some more Oregon

andy85221d ago

Im baffled how theyve made a game of this quality on this budget when worse games spend 5x that

chrisx221d ago

You're very right. Take a look at assassins creed shadows...GOY blows that game in every single department. The facial animations are leagues above shadows and also the combat and general mechanics. While on a smaller budget

Elda221d ago

I'd rather have a new Infamous game than a Sly Cooper game.

Redemption-64221d ago

Naaaaa, I like sly, but infamous is what they should do if they want to go back

Some studios function better that way.

northpaws221d ago

That's fine, will keep playing Legend 2 until their next game. Can't wait.

S2Killinit220d ago

Whatever they are doing, keep doing it.

Have been watching vids of the game and my wife who doesn't play games, asked me why the baddies as she called them, don't seem to be fighting back much, like they're stood still. The AI is dire and this is yet another showcase game from Sony. Run about and explore with flash graphics. There's just no variety with Sony's games.
