What Capcom is doing with multiple versions and excessive DLC for content that should be on the disc is obviously unacceptable. Its not difficult to avoid this trend:
Just DON'T BUY THEIR GAMES.

Play something else. Play the OG SF4, whatever, just please, for the love of fighting games, don't buy another capcom game or DLC

why don't they just add a "SUPER" mode to the already released game. All it does it increase the speed anyway....

So let me get this straight they didn't even release any other new characters for DLC, which I'll even download because I'll probably want all the characters even at $5 for each one and now they might announce an all new version? If they do then I'll say it now F U Crapcom, it's too soon and with the update balancing and some DLC characters on the way I don't understand what's the point of releasing a new version, seriously I can't see a justification.

Super street fighter, okay a massive update/10 new characters which would be problematic balancing/2 ultra's each and relatively cheap, fine I'll give you that as a decent justification. I traded my regular SF4 for the upgrade. But MVC which hasn't even been out a year and already features multiple supers etc, I honestly don't think you could do a thing to justify that kind of bullshit.

This just in. Capcom doesn't really give a damn about the fans anymore. I like SSF4 and I'll most likely get the AE DLC. But after that I'm done with Capcom until they start being realistic. I have not and will never pay for those absurd costume packs. Just because you can press new discs to milk our wallets doesn't mean you have to every three months.. LP2 could have been awesome if they supported it this much.. but no they let it go by the wayside to work on MVC3 and MVC3 sucks.. the hell would I want a SUPER version of a game that sucks? That's like getting kicked in the nuts getting mad about it and then getting kicked in the nuts again because some one said the second time makes you feel better.

i here mvc3 itself has serious issues like being too easy or dumbed down from mvc & mvc2

This and DLCs are making me wait a whole damn year before buying a game...I prefer buying GOTY versions for just 20€ than buying half a game for 70€.

Capcom is going to turn there fighting franchises into the likes of guitar hero and rock band. Not so much rock band but look what activision did to guitar hero. They killed it by releasing to many mediocre games that were all the same.

I wouldn't be surprised. I'm glad I waited before buying the game. After paying $60 for SFIV only to see them turn right around and release SSFIV this is almost to be expected. Never again.

Depends how you look at it, I dont see it being valid though. We are missing a LOT of content for Marvel vs Capcom 3. This content includes the following...

Costume pack: 2 - 6 + the pack.
Shadow Battle: 4 - 9?

Now Street Fighter IV came out with the pack (going off the PS store)roughly 1 year after the full costume pack came out.
Even being conservative they would need to release all the content for 3 and THEN announce the thing which would put it in a late release area. With the rate its going I would say thats just not going to happen.

Also lets remember that traditionally MVC did not get updates where as Street Fighter did.
