I think they didn't want to show the huge power supply the PS3 will have. Has anyone seen it? All I have seen is pictures of the console "case" and a PS2 controller with new lights and buttons.

I bet it is a special edition PS3 with a special new feature called...PSPedia, an electronic encyclodedia (copied from wikipedia). That way Sony can edit and change history to fit their desire. Imagine the fun of researching Japanese history outlining giant crab battles, the success of UMD, Mini Disc, BetaMax, and SACD formats. Editing of promised features (omitting things like dual HDMI, WiFi built in), and of course release date modification.

The white gloves are to keep smudges and finger prints off the damn thing. Unlike the crapbox the ps3 has a glossy like finish that shows smudges. Seriously, in the history of game consoles Microsoft fanatics are by far the worst. It used to be a simple "I got an SNES, what do you have? Bring it over so I can try it."

But now we've hit the point where we have Microsoft fans willing to lie about the competition 24/7 just because a rival console is more powerful and has better features. It's bad enough that Microsoft itself published a slanted article about how the 360 is supposedly 3 times more powerful than the PS3 and how 80% of the Cell cpu architecture "doesn't count in real world performance". You don't just look at a Ferarri 430 and say "oh yeah, but that V-12 engine doesn't count. It's just paper specs, it means nothing in real-world performance."

You guys look like assholes when you say crap like that. I understand you're mad that your console isn't as good as Microsoft promised, but seriously, don't come whining to us about it.

The sad truth is that if you want online, you'll end up paying just as much for a 360 as you would for a PS3. The Xbox 1 lasted for 4 years, so assuming that the 360 lasts just as long....

360 Premium Console + 4 years of online multiplayer is $600.

PS3 Premium Console + 6 years of online multiplayer is $600. You also get FULL backwards compatibility (not the half-assed BC that the 360 has) for PS1 and PS2 titles, 60 Gb hard drive, Blu-ray drive for movies and games, and 1080p. Right out of the box.

Anyone with a brain can tell that the Xbox 360, if you want online gameplay, actually costs just as much as a PS3. And if the 360 lasts longer than 4 years, it's more expensive. Want HD-DVD movie playback? That costs extra too.

Once TGS comes around the most they'll be able to say is "CG LIES!!!!" and "Blu-ray isn't proven yet!" At my circuit city there's a rack for Blu-ray and HD-DVD titles, and almost all of the Blu-ray titles are sold out. I'm not joking. The HD-DVD stuff is just piling up with old titles and people were ignoring it.

Adding insult to injury, Sony's 6 year old console is still outselling the Xbox 360, which was supposed to be the next big thing. No matter how you spin it or what kind of excuses you come up with, the PS2 is outselling the Xbox 360. Emphasis on 'sell', not 'shipped'. Microsoft releases numbers on how many they've shipped, while NPD releases numbers on how many units have been sold. Why would they do this? So that gamers don't find out that the demand for their next-gen platform isn't all that high in the U.S. Demand for it is even lower in Europe, and in Japan it barely even exists.

Come on, we know you know this. Give it up already. You're making true 360 fans look bad.
