good, gives me more time to get more funds from christmas shopping, just the fact that sonic is actually in the game now, i can say that this game is going to be so good.

This can't be delayed in the US...it just can't! I can't see them only delaying it in Japan though...Nintendo's been treating Japan pretty good. As long as Mario Galaxy stays on track, I'd be happy with my Wii this year.

if this was on ps3 everybody would be like lolol delaystation this and delaystation that, but the wii gets a pass for its flagship title being delayed GTFO.

Well the only reason i got a Gamecube was SSBM and the only reason I would get a Wii is for Brawl, although I dont think it is worth it this time around. The controller is so dumb that I think it will ruin Brawl, unless they say you dont have to use it (which of course you will)

I guess I will definetly wait till next year to get a Wii. Last generation I bought my Gamecube for 2 games. Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart. I waited till Mario Kart released to buy it too. It sounds like those 2 games arent going to be released till next year for the Wii :( Oh well I can take that money and invest it in games for the 360 and PS3 in the mean time. I hope that Nintendo takes some of the massive profits it's making and hires some more programers :)

Was anyone else as surprised to read this as I was ? Is this the same Monster Hunter that is so popular on the PSP ? If so this is some fairly big news especially in Japan where the game is hughly popular. I also agree with those above me about the delay. Make sure the game is right before release and we will not mind when it finally does come out besides I think we will have a few good titles to keep us busy until then.

This doesn't bother me that much. Just seeing the Sonic update this morning shows me just how good it's going to be. I don't mind a slight delay when a game's this good. I'd rather them take their time and fix any/all issues or pack in extra goodies.

As for the comments about Delaystation/etc. Delays hurt. Delays have hurt the ps3 and they've hurt the wii. They'll continue to do so. If SSBB had come out at Christmas, then it and Mario Galaxy would have trumped a lot of doubts. As it is Galaxy will still be huge, but Nintendo will make less than they could have. The only people who laugh about delays on any console are fanboys. I like the wii the best. I would love to eventually get the Ps3 for things like LBP (which is a quantum leap in gaming that's as big as anything we've seen this gen) and FFXIII. I'm not interested in the 360, but I have no dislike of it.
So don't worry about hypocrisy here. Most wii fans are just fans of fun.

This was a lifeline for Nintendo for teh holiday season, if the wii wasnt doing so well then this would be a big problem

I wish they could have put out melee with online capabilities. That would have been amazing for a launch title. Then they could spend forever working on brawl and everybody would have been happy. Can't wait until Feb. 10.
