I'll be so happy to see Battlefield 3 systems requirements on the side of the box. WILL NOT SUPPORT DX9! Yippe!

I do see some improvement as the 8800Gt and ATiHD3000 series are becoming the low end minimums.

hiredhelp5500d ago

And they wanted to bitch slap crysis 2 for no dx11.
but now it seems this game also is following suit.

well crysis 2 can now run dx11

I'm sorry this is going to be off-topic.

But where is the 3D support for NFS Hot Pursuit? Anybody heard anything about the infamous "3D enabling patch"?

Easy to run just like every other game this gen

plb5500d ago (Edited 5500d ago )

Exactly. If it is on console then my PC can run it no problem.

Ducky5500d ago (Edited 5500d ago )

... unless if it's a botched port. =/

despair5500d ago

Minimum is not the problem, whats the recommended specs. Thats what I want to see.

ultramoot5500d ago

Directx 9.0c? Nice to see how much things have improved since 2007. /sarcasm

dirthurts5499d ago

Dirt 2 supported DX11, I'm sure this game will too if there is any benefit. Honestly dirt 2 didn't look any different with it....

mobijoker5500d ago

Core 2 duo was one hell of a cpu lineup. But after 6 years games still run on it.Unbelievable.

imvix5500d ago

Thats because games are designed with 6yr old console hardware in mind. The industry has been on a standstill since the last 5-6years. Since games are not progressing graphically system requirements are pretty much stagnant as well.

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee48d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

US Lawmakers Urge Review Of EA Sale

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
