Yes I'm really looking forward to....
Tera, Black Prophecy, Dust 514

currently playing Vindictus and Eve Online

I enjoyed Vindictus Beta and when it went live, I played for a few months. I've never really gotten into EVE.

Also, Dust 514 looks very promising.

Guild Wars 2 and SWTOR. Can't wait for these two.

Roozium5540d ago

Still playing World of Warcraft. Will probably get SWTOR.

Guild Wars 2 is the only one I'll be getting on release. I loved GW1 because once you bought it, that's it, it's yours - no monthlies! And the same will be for #2. I just hope it lives up to it's expectations, which are very huge!

As for Star Wars, I'm real hopeful about it. Bioware VERY rarely lets down. So I'll more than likely give it a try.

As for Tera, I'll demo it just because Koreans know how to do sexy armor. (Mmmm sexy armor!) But I'm certain it'll be a grueling grind-fest. Therefore, I won't spend much time with it.

As for Warhammer... Hmmm... looks cool. But I don't know much about it yet.

Yeah, Warhammer is at least 2 years away, but I cant help but feel excited where I can be a guardsman and shoot down tyranids.

Mass Effect - N7 DAY 2025

Bioware writes: "Like you, we’ve heard the rumors lately. You’ve made it clear you care deeply about what’s next. So let’s start by setting the record straight: the next Mass Effect game is in development, and EA and BioWare remain committed to telling more stories in this universe."

I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed

Like with Fallout, it's starting to feel studios are using TV / Film adaptations when they have no game info to talk about.

toxic-inferno198d ago

I feel the same way.

I mean, how difficult would it be for them to release SOMETHING of substance? Another short trailer? A couple of proper hints? A short story set during the original trilogy, but focused on fringe characters?

Hopefully they're working so hard on the game that they don't have time. But still, with every passing year and so little to show, the franchise will be slipping further and further from people's minds.

Profchaos198d ago

Yeah agree it's almost a cop out since Dev times are 5 to 10 years just throw out a few seasons instead you get them done in a year

jznrpg198d ago

I still haven’t beat Andromeda. I am waiting for a lull of good games in my backlog

P_Bomb198d ago

So the TV show will take place after the OG trilogy. I wonder which ending they’ll use?

Rebel_Scum198d ago

Should’ve just posted a picture of an Elcor saying “regretfully, we have nothing to share.”

BioWare needs to follow Larian’s lead and just “embrace people’s cool choices”, veteran EA developer

Speaking on a recent episode of the FRVR Podcast, veteran EA developer Alex Hutchinson—who worked on The Sims 2, Spore and Army of Two: The 40th Day—explained that the studio is already no longer the studio fans fell in love with, but it should be safe from censorship of its games’ political beliefs.

Who didn’t see this coming lol

BioWare should find the center and focus. Chasing someone else’s shadow will likely lead to failure.
