The US likes to think itself totally invincible but like all great super powers (Rome, British Empire etc) they must come to an end.

First of all, USA is still the only superpower. A unified Korea still cant do SHIT, even within the next 20 years. And that is the truth. All it takes is the UN to issue military and economic sanction over the "Greater Korean Republic." Remember, even though Japan is pretty dependent on the US, but Japan is still strong enough to defend itself at least for the short term. And i doubt Russia and China would let the Koreans "rise".

Second, China has just announced the new 5 Year Plan that they will start moving their economic model more "in-ward" oriented. Meaning less export, less manufacturing, more service, more consumption-based economy. If this is successful, within 10 years, China would be very different from today (no more cheap goods, more quality products and services, more R&D, nanotech, and more alt energy products).

Third, even IF this ever happens, how will the "Great Korean Republic" fund and support this war both in terms of money and energy? From who? You are seriously telling me that within the next 15 years, Korea will have enough economic power and enough supply of energy to launch an invasion AND occupation on US soil?
