A game with as many bugs as Killzone 3 should never get a 9 or 10 review score. No website should give any game that requires this much fixing a high score. Apparently there are many people who actually believe that the multiplayer mode is fine. Lets take a look at why they are wrong.

As PlayStation celebrates its 30th anniversary, let's explore the best PlayStation games Sony has to offer.
There's too many games to choose from
No Metal geat solid 1,2,3,4?
No Resident evil?
No Silent hill?
No Midnight club 3?
No NfS Underground 2?
No Final Fantasy?
No Burnout 3?
No Dragon quest 8?
No Days gone?
No Ace combat?
No Tekken/Soul calibur?......
just from the top of my head
PS1 era was full of great RPGs, PS2 was racing generation i would pick top 200 and even that would be just a fraction.
The Amsterdam-based studio reflects on its humble beginnings, beloved franchises, and growth through the years.
Up there with the top tier in the industry. Love Guerrilla Games - Horizon Burning Shores is simply STUNNING.
32.7M sales in the Horizon franchise! With 8.4M coming from Forbidden West alone! Truly a hugely successful game and franchise as a whole. Looking forward to Horizon III
Yooo, when I first saw that Killzone 1 footage at E3, my friends my brothers and I were like, Holy shit! When it came out, it didn't look exactly like it, but we sunk so many hours into 1 & 2.
I even liked Killzone: SF, it was a spectacle to look at, and even today it looks good. I hope they make a new one. Can you imagine how that will look, and they can get some modern FPS pointers from Bungie.
Such a wonderful studio. They deserve all their success.
The Decima Engine is absolute 🔥 I'm just mad they have abandoned Killzone.
DSOGaming writes: "While Sony does not plan to release Killzone 3 on the PC, Yahfz shared a video that gives us a glimpse at what such a PC version could look like."
PC almost always ends up the best place to play games, even if it takes a while.
What would you rather play decades down the line? A game at a fixed resolution and frame, considering you have a working disc, and the hardware?
Or run it on an emulator that can update the experience all around, and let you use whatever control input you prefer?
If you insist on the former, it's really only for the sake of nostalgia.
The RPCS3 devs are doing great work. And Kami works nicely with it too it seems.
Very neat.
I love kz3
But
- spawn kills...at the very start of the game(spawning enemy's behind you) is a piss take
- inconsistant hit detection i hate firing my gun then thrwing snow balls at an opponet for him to put on shot in me and i die and its not a head shot(i was being extra with the snow balls part) but sometimes it does feel like your throwing everything at them
-the balance of the noob classes or lack of
*marksman (we all no abwt the complaints here so im nt gna)
*infiltrator...a rocket launcher ? run behind enemy lines blended in and spam rockets
joing games with less then 5 mins left
not being able to join games as the world is fuul
ribbons not showing up on your stat screen after getting them a gizzilion times
and after all that it suprisingly is a fun addictive game :')
I haven't had any bugs or glitches myself so far (mind you I know a few people that have had problems, seems to me to be a few problems in connecting people together who have different NAT types). But every big-release game has problems on its multiplayer side of things. Look at the last few CoD games, I don't think any of them have had a problem-free and completely successful first week, it takes a while because they have to adjust the servers to withstand the amount of players playing and trying to connect to each other.
Disagree about the replay mode too. It can be good but you're saying that any multiplayer shooter that doesn't have a replay theatre fails and only mention 2 that currently have them?
I agree about the map limitations though, particularly about the lack of a custom/private games function (which Guerilla said they'd patch in in a few weeks after release, but I mean c'mon, that sort of thing needs to be in at the start, especially in a game that claims to have a large focus on clans). Plus releasing DLC with this and that edition on day one irritated me. I bought this to play with friends, nice and simple. Then I realise some have DLC maps, and some don't, and on day one of the EU release Guerilla outline their first DLC package. C'mon, if you're already bringing out DLC that early (even before the game is out) then you can either include it with every game or release it for free.
*reads article*
*Looks at the flaws in nearly every other FPS*
You were saying??? Every game has some minor issues in one way or another. No game is 100% perfect. Quit with the double standards. Just because every tiny thing isn't to your liking doesn't mean its not a 9/10 or even a 10/10 for someone else. If your going to bitch about all the small flaws in one game, then I had better see you do it for every single other game.
i hate the ememies that are invisible and that seemed to be on your team and arent. If those were removed the game would be more balanced.
You know what amazes me. I agree that KZ3 has a few flaws(that are being patched). But why is it that PS3 games treated this way. All the time FPSs before KZ3 are given perfect scores. Then months later after the game makes millions then articles appear talking about all the problems the game had.
KZ3 is torn apart from the starting gate and expected to be perfect. Why is it expected to set the standard? Why suddenly this nonsense about games like this should never get perfect scores? Where were these kind of articles when we were counting the glitches and hacks in MW2 or the broken MP in other shooters? Did that stop the perfect scores? No. Suddenly KZ3 is the pariah of FPSs because the MP has a some annoying problems just like any other MP shooter has right off the bat.
