KEEP CoD on top? I'm sorry, was it at the top in the first place?

1. By releasing it.

The majority of gamers don't care about Bobby Kotick's greed, they don't care or know that IW isn't really IW anymore, they don't care or know that three studios are working on MW3, and most probably don't even know that CoD is usually made by two devs alternating every year. All they know is that a "new" Call of Duty game is releasing, and that's enough for them.

I bought CoD4MW at full price, I bought CoDWaW used, I bought CoDMW2 at full price and I bought CoDBO discounted, and it was by far the worst Call of Duty I've played. Knowing what I know about IW and what not, MW3 will not be purchased by me until I can get it really cheap.

I whole heartedly agree with the single player aspect. It's simply too janky of a story, and too quick of an experience to gain any sort of enjoyment out of it. I'm largely a single player gamer, so why should we get shafted, because we don't want to deal with the scrub-cakes online?

Um, by putting the franchise on hold until the next generation and, once we get there, releasing a new game on a 2 or 3-year basis with focus on quality over quantity and having some sort of innovation attached to it, perhaps making another time period the new standard, which would make games that come out with the WWII or modern warfare setting less of the "Same old, same old" thing, therefore helping everyone?

The way I see it, Call of Duty influences nearly all of the FPS genre, so getting CoD out of the way for a few years and giving us new ideas would make Call of Duty a brand I like again, not one I hate because of Kotick's greed. Oh, and take Treyarch and Infinty Ward out and put somebody in there who can make a good game. Infinity Ward lost all chance of releasing a new game and Treyarch couldn't just make another W@W (which is my personal favorite)with the grit whilst maintaining the setting and creating a polished multiplayer experience. IS THAT SO GODDAMN HARD?!?!

Modern Warfare 3 only needs to be called Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and it'll stay on top. So far all I see are pretenders.

MW3 will outsell Black Ops, Black Ops outsold MW2, MW2 outsold WAW ect.... As long as they keep the core aspects of the game the same people will line up at midnight to buy the game.

I for one cannot wait, I look forward to the new COD game every year. I'm very interested to see what Sledgehammer and Raven can do with the game.

Yeah Black-Ops single players was just not that impressive as Modern warfare 2's single player. Black-Ops Single player had way too much cutscenes that takeover the gameplay 60 percent of the time. They need to change the Engine for the game and make things destructible like Battlefield 3. This game is just overhype.

For single player, a campign that has zombies and bio weapons involved, real cut-scenes instead of stupid scripted events and a main character that we actually like and care about, plus i don't want anyone from treyarch to be involved in this game...that's it.
umm for MP they can fix it as i hope so...
