Lets compare graphics between an old machine using old hardware and directx 9 to the most recent and most powerful hardware the world has ever seen.

Makes sense to me, definitely qualifies as NEWS.

I get they are trying to show the leaps and bounds made in technology, but I'm getting tired of seeing EVERYTHING compared to EVERYTHING.

It counts as news because the gears 360 screens are bullshots. jk

Lol i was just gonna say that.

yeah the only pics of real gameplay is the mass effect ones, but it dont matter, next gen engine vs this gens consoles, and i mean all 3 of them is silly and pointles, lets compare ps2 to the spectrum

I don't see why people keep saying that you can't compare apples and oranges... They are both roughly the same size, they are both edible. They are both roughly round shaped, they both grow on trees, etc..

aPerson5607d ago

Why not compare the new engine to a high-end PC game like Crysis 2, etc? That would make a far more interesting comparison than this.

HeavenlySnipes5607d ago

makes no sense. How can you put the engine up vs a game console? O_o

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
