New Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Details Listed

StickSkills.com writes, "It's hard to argue against Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim being one of the biggest games of 2011, if not the biggest game of the entire year. When the very first in-game footage was released a few days ago, the servers on the official site struggled to handle the workload from all of the requests."

Skyrim's gonna be filled with so much content. Can't wait to find my first rare item in some cave!

captain-obvious5563d ago

i liked this one the most

New to Skyrim also is the "Radiant Story system". An example listed in the article is, "If you discard a weapon on the ground to free up inventory space, you might find that a nearby character approaches you. If they like you, they might offer the sword back to you in case you dropped it by accident; if they're neutral toward you, they might ask if they can have it; and if they dislike you, they might simply nab the weapon and take off. Kill that character and the Radiant Story system will search for his or her relatives, and may even send one of them in pursuit of you to avenge the murder""

Isnt alot of this stuff we already new? I am sure this game will be filled to the brim with content but combat looks uninspired (just like oblivion). Ive kinda had it with the single person action rpg thing..........

@ below how am I crazy? its just plain boring to me. 1 on 1 battles over and over again, hack hack hack, magic, hack hack hack done. I played oblviion for all of 45 minutes before I got bored. I am actually hoping they change that.Just because my opinion might not be popular I aint crazy

bluegreenman5563d ago

combat looks uninspired? what? your crazy...

DanSolo5563d ago

lol well if you got bored of Oblivion in just 45 minutes, and you think the combat looks boring in Skyrim.... maybe you should just not get it?

There's plenty of other games coming out this year so why waste your time complaining about one you don't need to buy? lol

Personally I am looking forward to Skyrim, I enjoyed Oblivion and this looks like it will surpass that in pretty much every way!

bluegreenman5563d ago

if you saw the trailer, you would have seen that the combat looks a lot better. with finishing moves, dual wielding system, and fighting random dragon encounters. I think the combat looks awesome. how many first person sword games are there? and how many look this awesome and fluent.. none..

AyeGee5562d ago

Exactly, i was about to say that.. how many other games do this? Lol. NONE.

DanSolo5563d ago

It mentions about the perk that allows you to leave your enemies with deep wounds so that they bleed out... it would also be cool if you could do crippling type injuries to your enemies, like hamstringing or knee-capping them so that their mobility is decreased.

bluegreenman5563d ago

there are bound to be plenty of perks. that was just an example

DanSolo5563d ago

Yeah mate I know... I was just commenting as reading about that bleeding perk reminded me of using the "Cripple" and "Pin down" skills in Guild Wars to slow my opponents down so I could hammer the shit out of them as they tried vainly to get close to me! lol

Damn, no comments about voice actors. People thought it was annoying that they reused the same voice actors over and over, but I thought it was funny in its own way.

"Jauffre is that you? What're you doing begging for coins?"

they can't get a 14 year old game to run smoothly?

jjb1981161d ago

That's ridiculous, lol. I'm waiting for the guy that says its too cpu-intensive for the Switch 2. This game is old af and has been released like 17 times.
