In just a few more hours the demo for Biowares upcoming game "Dragon Age 2" will be released on Xbox Live, PSN and will be available for download via the official website.
Upon completion of the demo, Bioware will reward you with a special sword: Hayder's Razor, an ancient dwarven blade which increases health, mana, and combat abilities, for you to enjoy in the full version of Dragon Age 2.

Dragon Age 2 set the precedent that the series would always carry our choices over, but was it worth it?
If the choices won't matter, why bother? Bioware works so hard at giving meaningful choices but rarely if ever carrying out the impact of such choices to the end.

EA is laying off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.
When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!
cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The free-to-play reboot topped 15 million players in under three weeks, but EA now claims it needs to reshape the development team.
The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result
Nice :) I'll be trying that out^^ Already pre-ordered my copy of Dragon Age II. It's gonna be awesome :)
Eventually I will purchase the game. But these unlocks are a joke right? They are simply in game books of poems. and you have to be logged into your EA account while playing the demo on either your PC, Xbox 360 or PS3? What does that actually mean when playing demo on 360 and PS3?
Give me a new weapon or character... (or pet???) THEN you might get some demo hits!!!
EDIT: after closer read I did notice this statement too: "Upon completion of the demo, players will unlock a special weapon, Hayder's Razor, an ancient dwarven blade which increases health, mana, and combat abilities, in the full release of Dragon Age 2.**" and the asteric marks lead to a May 31 2011 expiration. Still not sure how the EA account thing works for the consoles?
In general, this is what developers should do. Release quality demos for people to try out. I like that! And I so want Skyrim now! I need a huge open world to explore :)
It's been the 22nd for almost 10 hours here. Come on!
Downloading now..... :)
