IGN: Taking Homefront Online

Homefront is a first person shooter made by Kaos Studios, who previously developed Frontlines: Fuel of War. Homefront is scheduled to ship pretty soon, this March in fact, on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Recently IGN's Anthony Gallegos and Charles Onyett had a chance to play around with the online modes for a few hours. Here's what they thought.

Looks pretty good, although I agree with IGN that the single player campaign has to be good to set the mood of the game. Its nice that it will have 32 players online as opposed to BC2's 24 and CoD's 18. Hopefully the matchmaking works better than BC2 and hopefully it takes the vehicle gameplay and mixes it with MW2 action.

I still haven't played that game that perfectly blends CoD and Battlefield. I thought it could've been Medal of Honor, but, well... you know... This game might hit that sweet spot.

Ehh, PS4 needs these deals too, or consoles in general we always get discounts rarely free stuff that's REALLY free (games with gold / psplus isn't free)
