Thank God it has a new game engine, it looks great! Hopefully the console versions won't be released riddled with hideous game-wrecking bugs....

Yes I'm talking about you, New Vegas

phantomexe5598d ago

Are you kiding new vegas you mean i'm looking at you everything Bethesda makes.

hakis865598d ago

Yeah hopefully the console versions both look great, and who knows - will they include optional Kinect and PS MPVE support? Would be awesome for swordfighting and spells IMO :)

@jony_dols

Its not the release version of the game that makes it so great on the PC either. Its the modding communitty which really makes these games shine.

I really does. Though I hate that it says there's spiders. Loved oblivion for having only those weird crab things.

Just hope they're more crab-like than spider-like. I'm terribly afraid of spiders.

JohnnyBadfinger5598d ago

I've had a bird eating spider climb (Size of a dinner plate) over my face... sure i freaked the fuck out, but i gotta say after that, any spider smaller than my fist does not scare me.

BeOneWithTheGun5598d ago

I have been waiting so long for this game. I am going to lose hundred of hours of my life to yet another bethesda project.

Brazil5598d ago

Not convinced yet. This seems like an even bigger step down than Oblivion. 18 skills? No class system? Perks? There's STILL level scaling? Doesn't sound like Bethesda wants to make RPGs anymore, just an action game like Fable or Mass Effect. I really, really hope the games world and quests make up for this junk, because those do sound great.

"Faces are heavily improved. They don’t look like crap, anymore."

lol.

My own major concern is, getting rid of several major glitches (i.e. the one where items fall THROUGH the ground).

TANUKI5598d ago

Whoops, I meant to say "my only"

Cloud_5599d ago

Wow, this game sounds like its going to be incredible.

Superted20075599d ago

ugh scaled leveling :(

Hope the combat is improved drastically.

The last bit about dragon attacks and duels sound awesome though

Bolts5598d ago (Edited 5598d ago )

WTF?? Why did they bring back scaled leveling?? Look, I love open world and all but scaled leveling ruined my sense of progress in Oblvion. Why can't they stick with Fallout's system of advancement, your character starts out at region A level 1-10, the final quest will take you to region Z level 40-50 and there numerous regions with different level challenges in between. I always hate how in Oblivion, the noob bandit cave that I visited before is suddenly filled with uber mobs at the end game.

RedDead5598d ago

I like the sound of it so far and the new additions, I hope this scaled leveling only means for questing aswell, not for enemies and loot, that will anger me, the fast travel system may be good again, I hope they don't just give you the major cities at the start and I hope the cities are like morrowind over oblivion, be part of the world instead of boxed in and a separate cell to the overworld.

Hope they bring back jump and levitate aswell.

"if you drop a dagger in a town, a young boy might pick it up and find you to return."

Oh god, and I thought the arena fan was annoying! Hopefully there'll be a mod similar to the child killer mod in Fallout 3, let's see him bring back a sword without a head!

they can't get a 14 year old game to run smoothly?

jjb1981146d ago

That's ridiculous, lol. I'm waiting for the guy that says its too cpu-intensive for the Switch 2. This game is old af and has been released like 17 times.
