Space shooter games are usually all about the pretty light show when you’re in combat. Dodging waves of enemies and near escapes from glowing bullets is great, but what you’re really looking forward to is getting another weapon upgrade that looks cool and lights up the screen in a new way. Super Blast 2 tends to throw this typical formula aside, and instead simplifies the genre to autofire and accelerometer controls while keeping weapon upgrades and enemies to a minimum.
GameStyle - Phantoom Entertainment brings their sequel to Super Blast to the iPhone and iPod Touch, but is it a stellar space ride or joyless black hole sucking the fun out of all around it?
TouchReviews - If you like loads of explosions and plenty of firepower that Super Blast 2 has all of that as it’s a shoot-em-up that challenges you with the cry of ‘none shall pass’ as to progress in the game you need to prevent all of the enemy craft from getting passed you as if you do then it’s game over.
