StrengthGamer: X-Men Arcade Review

Do I really need to explain what this game is all about? Created in 1992 by Konami, you control one of six X-Men (Cyclops, Colossus, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, or Dazzler), in a quest to destroy Magneto.

There's also a giveaway.

Played through this with a group of players online yesterday - it was amazing. Nice review.

this morning. As colossus and kicked some old school butt. I also like how they cleaned up the gfx but not over the top.

I can see my kids and I playing this like we did TMNT and TMNT reshelled. Good wholesome family entertainment.....beating bad guys up!

Captain america/avengers and simpsons would be nice to have now as well.

I used to play this game at the arcade in Chuck E. Cheese's with my sisters many years ago... those are some good memories.

I'm tempted to buy it now just for the nostalgia.

I miss those old school arcades so much. They were the best

Morgue3788d ago (Edited 3788d ago )

Ground Kontrol in Portland, OR. All ages till 4 or 5 I think and then 21 and over at night. Full bar, top floor is all pinball machines, lower floor is stand ups.

10 minute walk from my place downtown and I'll easily spend $20

That sounds awesome. Sadly nothing like that still around in Australia.

Those parties were the best. I remember something similar where myself and a few friends finished Die Hard Arcade. Good write up. You have got me pining for the good old days

Hewso3788d ago

Oh I remember that game. Was a good one

Back then it was about trying to get the top score and having fun hanging out with your mates and no one cared about how many pixels a game had

Comic Book Games: 8 Games That Bring Superheroes And Villains To Life

Gamerant

There are no two greater symbols of geek culture than comic books and video games, and comic book games combine these two unique forms of entertainment into one enjoyable experience. Like many other media combinations, some are good and some are awful, but the good ones stick out by letting us play as our favorite heroes, anti-heroes, and outright villains in fantastical settings.

These comic book games are just a few of the best out there, taking the things we love about comics and injecting them with the interactivity superserum that makes games so great.
