Wow, just wow.

It seems all gaming news is Sony related these days, and that's because there's so much content on the PS3.

Killzone 3 using motion controls might not appeal to the entire hardcore crowd, but having it there as an option, or to get one's wife into gaming is good.

jack_burt0n5683d ago

after re5 all my shooters need to have move support, Killzone 3 and socom day 1 buy.

SMW5683d ago

What settings do you use?

Im trying but its horribly laggy and inaccurate. HELP!!!

nix5683d ago (Edited 5683d ago )

don't know about jack, but i've set Move movement setting to 'Slowest'. it does 'wobble' around a lot but after few hours you'll be alright and fine.. just make sure you've got best weapons and enough ammunition (which you will get as you keep playing). but i do hate the 'stop and shoot' thing. it's just too freaking irritating!

and on topic: IGN your video sucks.. it keeps freezing my browser... or maybe that's a mac/firefox problem!

SMW5683d ago

I hate the fact that you have to press the trigger to aim but when you do it basically recalibrates your move to center of screen. Its completely stupid! Might trade resi in for mag.

Rumor5682d ago

snap-to-target aiming. easier campaign hopefully :)

For me the announcement of move implementation as well as the early demonstration of kz3 with move is what sold me.. surprisngly I'm really enjoying sports champions and embarassingly eye pet lol.. But yea killzon3 looks epic and the move support looks brilliant.. Cannot wait till february...

edhe5683d ago

So yesterday's gears3 details didn't count?
Last weeks 3ds even didn't count?

o_O.

MNicholas5683d ago

use of move.

Glad they don't require a grenade throwing motion to throw a grenade. Just point and click. Nice.

lexington5683d ago

Yeah it's nice if you like pointing a little pink ball at the screen and shooting helgasts ROFL. Oh yeah that's really tough, little pink ball and it only requires a billionth of cells powa to generate that pretty pink hue.

moparful995682d ago

You sound like a move aphobe kinda like a homophobe.. Your more afraid of what you will look like playing it then the amount of depth, precision, or fun you can have with it... @ below there's a reason you have one bubble, your opinions suck now go away...

Well they are really being carefull with this. Just wonder when kinect will get its first FPS....

EscoBlades5683d ago

Would be interesting to see how Kinect gets implemented in an FPS game without the need for another peripheral.

MaximusPrime5683d ago

looks pretty good with PS Move.

Of course he's showing an alpha mode version of Killzone 3. imagine the final version will be. :P

acky15683d ago

looks fun...which remember, is the most important thing.

bostoner5683d ago

I think it was more like super auto aim. Probably can change it in the settings tho.

EscoBlades5683d ago

Yeah, would hope. It would be like playing a PC FPS title with a never ending aimbot equipped :P

blusoops5683d ago

The developer has stated that auto aim is only available in the easiest setting and only in the campaign. Any other setting there's no auto aim available.

EA Lays Off Staff Across All Battlefield Studios Following Record-Breaking Battlefield 6 Launch

EA is laying off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

badz14950d ago

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee62d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

US Lawmakers Urge Review Of EA Sale

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

TheColbertinator96d ago

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

rlow196d ago

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
